American River College

Not Very Community Oriented

It is depressing most of the time. I feel anxious to leave campus, like its designed to make you want to go away. There really is no place where people can study and get coffee in one place, like a coffee or tea house. The library is decent, outdated, but the staff is nice most of the time. Not all the teachers have their books available at the library.

Needs Improvement

American river college needs to think about its priorities. With the budget crisis, is it really necessary to remodel the cafeteria? We need to spend on better education and keeping classes available. They cut some of my favorite classes and fired my favorite teacher. It is scary, when you see what is happening to our education system. All semester I have been stressed and angry that it is getting more expensive to go to college yet the education is getting worse.
