Very diverse community, sensibly a lot of Military and/or veterans. A lot of female community because this university becomes specialized in Nursing degrees, which adversely impacts the quality, trust, and value of IT degrees

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The tuition is way too high compared to what you get. The online courses sometimes require you to buy a textbook as old as 5-6 years ! That's ridiculous in IT degrees. Since the professors are ghosts and you have to pay your textbooks, the tuition is only providing you with credits because of the exams, but nothing else.

The online classes are limited to reading assignment, quizzes which are very easy, mandatory forum posts with no professor interaction, and a final exam which is often taking questions from the quizzes. The interaction with professors is mostly null, except for one or two professors which would be a much better fit in a better school.

Taking online courses was enjoyable and the answer for me!!!! I completely prefer the online experience versus the traditional classroom.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I find the tuition very high but the degree and convience of being online are well worth the tuition.

The BSN program is exactly as I expected with the focus on processes. No extra classes, just the ones needed to obtain the BSN. Having it be an online coarse helps those of us working and raising a family. Having this degree will certainly open many doors for my career.

The professors are easily available. The curriculum is right in line with the degree. The registration process is very easy. The workload is heavy but can be done, it requires a lot of research and papers written.

The curriculum is soecific to my employment. There are no extra classes required.

The students are mostly adult age with families who have returned to college to increase their existing degree status.

I am very pleased and eager to continue. I do not feel like just a number here.

They have an accessible online library that makes your references automatically scholar resources. It is very easy to use the library. They also help with APA formatting.

I have never had any computer issues and I have taken two full online classes. If you do have issues, there are several numbers to call, even the professors personal phone.

This school is geared to working nurses already in the profession. We do not have to take elective classes, we got straight into our junior year and all the classes are work related. There are no stressful math, politics or science classes. I recommend this school highly. I was very stressed at a well known University and it was taking a toll on my marriage and personal life so I resigned. I am very glad I found out about American Sentinel BSN to RN program.

Nursing major and class are what I expected. Professors are willing to help when needed whether it be to explain questions or allowing more time to turn in papers due to workload

Very flexible with assignments and willing to go extra mile to make sure all students learn material.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
