There are many sporting events held at the University, and the programs vary from semester to semester, with flag football and paintball in the past. There are usually e-mails circulated with news about upcoming sporting events. The University does have a volleyball and basketball team, as well, and intramural sports add some variety, too. Tennis courts can be reserved for practice through the Sports Program Office, and students can contact the office if they're interested in participating in an event or pursuing a sport that is not explicitly offered. Newcomers to sports will surely be welcomed in whatever they decide to try.

It all really depends on the interest of the student. There are clubs for Yoga, equestrian, swimming, and salsa. New ideas for clubs are welcome, and students are encouraged to follow their passions and create clubs with members who share the same interest. Students with new ideas should not be intimidated since everyone is open to suggestions. It is almost guaranteed that there will be someone else interested in what you suggest. Also, there have been some clubs that have faded in the past due to the presidents of those clubs having graduated. Some of them were really interesting, and it could be an idea to bring them back to life.
