Coming from a middle class family from California, I'm pretty laid back. I speak French fluently, I think going to another country would be an amazing eye opening experience but I like straight men and people who don't care so much about appearances. Would it be worth it going to AUP?
If you plan in advance for finances then you can make it happen. Just get on FAFSA pronto.
If you're not big into people who care about appearance, then maybe you should reconsider. It's Paris, after-all; the home of fashion, perfume and design. It's not Boise or Des Moines. However, Paris is also a big city with millions of people - one of which is bound to be like you :)
