AUP hosts parties year-round, and they are usually held in the hotspots of the city. At these parties, you're likely to meet everyone you know and a lot of people you don't. There's something for everyone in Paris, whether it be packed into a crowded club, sitting at the bar, or dining with friends in a nice restaurant.
There are a lot of Web sites that list the agendas for a night out in "the City of Lights," and the Web is a great place to start if you're looking for somewhere to go. An even better place to start would be to call at least three of your friends, and it's practically guaranteed that you will have plans for the evening and an hour to get ready. If you're trying to avoid paying high club entries, get to the club a little earlier, since most clubs don't charge before midnight or 1 a.m. It also pays to be early since at the liveliest hours of the night, the lines will be out the door and around the corner. If you're looking to save money on drinks, then organize a pre-party with some friends to have some fun before you hit the actual dance floor. It's also good to keep in mind the amount you'll probably need for a cab home, since you could easily hit four or five places on a weekend night out with friends.
