Drug and Alchohol Visibility

Alcohol is not allowed in the dorms so any or most drinking that occurs is off campus. As far as the drug and alcohol scene it is easy to avoid if you want to. The only main issue I have seen is cigarette smoking and hookahs all over campus.

If You Want It You Can Get It

The drug scene at AU is not that big. Most kids stick with pot and don't do hard core drugs but if you really want to I'm sure you can find some. Drinking is definitely more popular.

Drinking Over Drugs

Of course there are people who smoke but not much more than weed.

Alcohol is technically not allowed on campus, even if you are over 21, but nobody really cares if you aren't flaunting it. Also, AU has a good policy that while you can't drink on campus, they won't actually do anything if you are drunk as long as you aren't being belligerent (age doesn't matter).

Alcohol, as it is almost everywhere, is easy enough to come by.
