No matter what type of cuisine you are craving, D.C. is the perfect place to satisfy your taste buds. It seems that every country in the world not only has an embassy in D.C., but also a restaurant. The more adventurous your tastes run, the more fun you’ll have exploring cuisine in the city. There is every type of food imaginable, and restaurants range from fine dining experiences to fast food.

Fortunately, for students with thin wallets, there are cheap diners and eateries that surround campus. In nearby Tenleytown alone, there are restaurant spots that serve Mexican, French, Japanese, Thai, and classic American food. Students stress the importance of going beyond the comforts of fast food and late-night pizza and experiencing the endless international flavors the city offers.
