Centennial and Nebraska are the best, but those are mostly for upperclassmen. I love Leonard. McDowell and Hughes come in next. I do not recommend Anderson and Letts, but they can be fine depending on who you are.

I always use my own laptop since our library is too small for the amount of students that we have. There are some great centers around the University, like the GLBTA Resource Center that has additional computer stations. You can usually always find a free computer, but everyone has laptops anyway.

It really varies. I've met people from all over the world with very different backgrounds. However, most are the typical white, Michael Cera type that like to be sarcastic all the time. The guys are usually pretty skinning and quirky, and the girls are always dressed in artsy scarves. Everyone has an opinion on just about everything.

Parking? Forget it. You aren't allowed to have cars on Tenley Campus, and most of the parking seems to be far anyway.

I am doing the Washington Semester Program, and my professor encourages class participation and discussion. However, she is ultra-liberal and does not like it when people do not agree with her. Other than that, AU professors are always there to help out after class and willing to meet with you.

Washington, DC is awesome, and there are so many things to do! The zoo has pandas! Walk around the mall or go to Georgetown to shop on a nice day. Also, check out Adams Morgan if you're over 21—it has a pretty cool bar scene.

The student population is all over the place. There are extremes toward both poles. The foreign chicks know how to dress, and there are some hot guys. Overall, it's average.
