Facts

Interviews & Information Sessions

Contact Undergraduate Admissions at (202) 885-6000 or email afa@american.edu. Prospective students are asked to register for information sessions in advance, since space is limited.

Campus Tours

Day Visits allow prospective students to get a glimpse of true college life. They can sit in on a class, have lunch in a dining hall, and have the option of either taking a tour of campus or meeting with an academic adviser. To register for a Day Visit, prospective students should email dayvisits@american.edu at least two weeks before the intended visit date.

Overnight Visits

Regular overnight visits and the Honors Overnight Program are available. The Honors Overnight Program can reach capacity and close quickly, so it's best to register as soon as you can.

College Prowler guides are in the hands of students throughout the entire process. Because you can't make student-written guides without the students, we have students at each campus who write, edit, and survey their peers for every guide that we publish.
