My experience at this school was great. I loved the small community and able to get help in every class that I need. Classes work around my schedule so well. So I very much enjoyed my stay at Ancilla College.

The activities at this school are very small and friendly. We have a gym that is away from the school so the athletes have to drive back and forth. Our library is small but it is effective with the size of the school we have. Lastly we have no performance theaters or student facilities to hang out at.

Ancilla College is a school of more than just education. There are many different activities that the Poor Handmaids of Jesus Christ have established within this community. The sisters are always friendly and wanting to do so much for this school and community.

I am not sure because I have not graduated from here yet. I want to try and keep going with my schooling, so I am not looking for a serious career yet.

They are hard to understand. The sites have changed almost every semester.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It is a good school, a little pricey for my tastes. However I know that with the schooling they provide I will be able to provide my daughter with a better life.

The World of Nursing – Most people come to Ancilla for the Nursing Program. We have one of the best Nursing programs in the area. It is very competitive but is design to find the best qualified to make it. The Nursing students have an abundance amount of help around them and also a lot of students work together. It's hard work but students who graduate always find a pretty decent job.

Every Different Color – Ancilla is one of the most diverse schools I know. Our soccer team alone has players from 9 different countries. There are no clics or groups at Ancilla. We all love each other for our differences and celebrate of similarities. We are just one big family trying to succeed and help as many people as we can along the way.

My Academic Experience – I am a Health Science Major, soon going into Nursing. I enjoy Ancilla because It has wonderful staff willing to help every student personally succeed. It is a Catholic College that has an openess to accept outside religions. The curriculum is awesome and the programs are designed for hands on experience. I would not pick any school over this one because they always seem to bring great hard working people together.

We have our online classes through a site called moodle. It is very useful and we can email and talk to our teachers if we ever need help at any time.

I am going for a health science degree, and the classes that I take are hard and demanding. I manage to pass them all though. Getting a associates degree here in very possible in two year, which I love.

Ancilla is a good school to go to. It is small at the classes are small as well. The teachers are very interested in you as a person, and helping you with your class work anytime you need it. They get to know you on a personal level, which is nice. It is out in the middle of the country, that is the only bad part.

I would have to say that the flexibility of classes at Ancilla has been standard. While they do offer a wide range of classes, they do not offer some classes except during certain parts of the day. Alot of the Criminal Justice classes are only offered at night which can be a real challenge for the people who work a night shift job or who needs to be home with their families.

The Professors – The professors at my school are really great. They are very knowledgable and are there to help in any situation. Any time that I've needed help with my work they have always taken the time to help me. I would highly recommend Ancilla College to anyone.

Moodle (online program) is a joke! Everything is graded online and the course work sucks!!!1

Ancilla College is a joke! The staff in the Registers office were rude and made things complicated for me and are very unprofessional. There are very few teachers that are nice and even care about students successes. I do not recommend ancilla college! Ancilla is like a dumbed down high school. The facility is old and there is no updated technology for the students.

Professor/Student Relationship – You have ample access to your professor for help. It was one of the better experiences there.

The professors wait till the students get to their class and decide to cancel class after most of the students drive an average of 60 miles round trip. You are being charged for having access to a lab in lab fees, however, you do most of your work at home and don't see the lab.

It is very disappointing. I came from a Community College and am not at a Private School and I had a better learning environment in the Community College. And it was just a small fraction of the price that I am being charged here. I am not please with their nursing program and would not recommend someone to go their.

It's Not User Friendly – The computer network is confusing often and does not let me in at all times

My experience has been odd. I have worked 40+ hours a week both semesters and yet have managed to keep my grades up and continue participating in college athletics. So while it has been extremely busy my counselors and teachers have been very gracious with the times when I have had to miss class because of my need to support myself. Because I did not receive enough financial aid to cover my tuition for the year, I was required to work full time to pay for the demands of every day life such as rent, car insurance, etc... and tuition on top of that. But because my professors and counselors understood my situation and helped me as much as they could, I would go back.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
