I am very happy with my program and would not change it if I could. I am most concerned about finding a job that will pay well for my degree.

I enjoy the program for my major because it has a variety of class. Also the professors are smart and very good at teaching. The classes are spread out throughout my four years. There are many opportunities to get involved in your major.

Health & Safety:
Anderson is a very safe campus & I have never felt in danger.

I love the campus. Everyone is always really warm and friendly. There is always something to do on campus. The town, however, is not as exciting.

Guys & Girls:
There are more girls to guys on campus. You have your partiers, nerd, jocks, and religous people. Just get involved on campus and you will be fine.

There are a lot of nice days but it gets a lot of rain and a semi-hard winter.

The music and nursing programs are really hard to beat. The profs expect a lot out of them but the hard work is worth it.

They help but only if you have no other option. I have received aid but only if I had an amount due that I could not possibly pay. The amount was also minimal compared to the tuition here.

There are a ton of houses that students can rent off campus. And with the Anderson housing market they are all in good condition for CHEAP. And they are all in walking distance from campus.

While it costs a lot to go here, there aren't too many options for student activities on campus. Most of the money goes to the landscaping. There are "planned activities" but most of the time you go off campus for those.

Although our teams have sturggled, there is tons of school spirit and fan support. They have tailgating and student sections. The athletic facilities are fantastic as well.

I have no had an internship but I would consider one. I think it would be a good idea to work in the field you are studying and get paid for it as well. That would be good experience as well as making a living.

I am in the nursing program and I really enjoy it. There is always room for improvement but I really like the way the program is set up. The class size is small and there are numerous opportunities to spend one on one time with the professors for extra help if needed.
College Junior 2012-10-03T17:04:01Z
There are shuttle services available around campus, but I am not really sure what other options there are as far as transportation. Students are allowed to have their vehicles on campus so there is not much need for provided transportation.

Guys & Girls:
Most students on campus look presentable and are friendly. The social life on campus is appealing and easy going. I have formed a lot of friendships with people I have met and classmates.

the city of Anderson is not what it used to be. The mall has lost a lot of stores but there are plenty of eateries in the local.

The campus could use more parking. You have to arrive early to park and walk.
College Junior 2012-10-03T15:09:22Z
there is access to computers in the library with multiple printers. The print outs cost five cents each but has standard black. the wireless is fast once you download the required plug in.

Since it is Indiana, the chance of weather changes are increased daily. The winters can be harsh with cold temps and snow or ice.

There is not a lot, and the surrounding neighborhoods are not a place I would like to live. However, the on-campus housing (Morrison!) is spectactular. The only advantage to off-campus is the apartment style living it involves.
College Sophomore 2012-09-19T23:57:43Z
Social Work is not a very high priority at this perfoming arts focused school. However, the professors are wonderful in the SW classes and they are sure to make the program amazing.
College Sophomore 2012-09-19T23:55:36Z
There are a lot if professors with varying depths of knowledge in several different fields! This is useful with deciding on a major, especially because they are all active in getting to know their students on a personal level.
College Sophomore 2012-09-19T23:53:24Z
The atmosphere on campus is absolutely wonderful. There are always positive people to surround yourself with, as well as fun activities on campus to participate in. This makes for a lot of lasting friendships based on integrity and compassion. However, the surrounding town is definitely a damper on the University itself.
College Sophomore 2012-09-19T23:51:00Z
There is a 'social club' life, and this involves 'surging' a particular club that generally focuses on public involvement and service projects. However, the surging experience is often based on harsh and time consuming activities.
