There are all kind of races and denominations at AU, the leading percentage is caucasian and southern baptist. As a result, most of the activities, events, and style of classes and chapel mostly reflect this percentage of the schools body.

Anderson has a high acceptance rate. The student body is not very diverse, a large majority of the students are white and there are more females than males. Of course, being a baptist university there is a religious vibe throughout the campus.

Anderson University has a very high acceptance rate. The majority of the students are Caucasian, but there are also African-American and Asian-American students. There are also a good bit of students from other countries, that come to AU mainly to plan sports. Even though it is a Christian university affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, there are a variety of religious backgrounds, including those that do not believe in God at all. Political beliefs also vary, but the majority are conservative. There are also a handful of students on the campus of around 3,000 that are homosexual. Through all the differences, the campus runs very smoothly and no one is ostracized.

There are mainly whites here but sometimes you will see some Asians and African Americans. Most students are pretty accepting as far as other racial groups and if someone's sexuality is in question. But some are really southern raised and straight southern baptist and are not accepting of others.

There are far more international students than there used to be, but most of them are art majors or play sports. Just about everyone is Christian, or was raised Christian.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
