I did receive a decent amount of financial aid, but it was still not enough. It is not easy to find the money you are missing when the college only sees what your parents make yearly and decide it is enough that they can pay for a certain amount; which is not always correct. It is best to talk to financial aid in person because they do not get back to emails quickly.

I always feel safe on campus because they go above and beyond to try and keep every student safe. If there is an escapee from the hospital or a suspicious person around the campus we get emails telling us about it and are told that campus security is on high alert. They do the best they can having a small security detail, but the campus is not real big which is great because if you're out late in another building it is not a long walk to get back to the dorm room.

Anderson University - South Carolina Campus Dining was reviewed by mgn1994

The food is always some kind of pasta and meat every day. The only fruit choices are between an apple, orange, and banana. There is not any dairy free food choices for the people that cannot eat dairy. There are two other places on campus to eat known as the Grille and Food For Thought. At the grille they always have burgers and hot dogs and any food that is easy to make and serve. Food For Thought is where people go to eat greasy, overly cheesy pizza. The people serving the food are nice but other than that, you get really bored by the day to day food options.

I'm in creative writing. The programs just getting off the ground and is pretty small, but its challenging and the teachers are awesome. They're all really invested in e students and want to see us succeed and become better writers. On that topic, a lot of them grade based on how much you improve not on how well you do, so you do have to stay on top of your work and really put forth some effort. Since the english department is trying to expand, especially the writing part of it, they're pretty eager to accept people
