Angelo State University has a decent strictness policy. There is no curfew for students to be back in the dorms, but after midnight only residents can get into the dorms. This is because the front desks close at midnight and can't watch who comes in. However, RAs are on duty 24/7 to ensure residents' needs are able to be met. There are quiet hours, but they rarely need to be enforced because most students are considerate. Visiting hours are a little more strict. If you are caught with a visitor after hours, an RA will ask the guest to leave, and you only get in trouble if it is a recurring situation.
The alcohol policy is strict, especially in the freshman dorms, but enforcement is only as strict as the floor's RA. Typically, stricter RAs live in freshman dorms and enforce the alcohol policy, but some RAs in upperclassman dorms will be lenient if the person is over 21. Overall, a good RA will be the strictest because they are following policies and actually doing their job. The popular RAs are the ones that let their residents get away with anything.
