If you get in with the right people the party life is great! But i would say it wouldnt compare to a D1 school
I'm not much of a party goer, but I will say I hear of a lot of people talk about parties that are near and far. There is a popular "club" that everyone likes to go to on Wednesdays. But there are never not parties to attend.
Ah perfect thank you so much :) ill definetely be coming in the fall!
Not far at all! There are even some apartments in walking distance, but it is easy to make friends and get a safe ride. I was a partier myself and never found trouble finding or getting home from one.
Depending on who you know, the parties are up the hall or just 5 minute driving away! Nothing is two far to get to if you know where you're going.

San Angelo has a bar for just about everyone. Whether you want to dance or just drink your sorrows away, there is a place for it in town. For the drinking crowd over 21, there are different types of bars that cater to different tastes. From the rock 'n' roll atmosphere of The Deadhorse, to the casual laid-back atmosphere of Grinners.
Most of the bars downtown are not for those under 21, but some clubs admit anyone 18-and-up who wants to dance the night away. There are basically three options for dance style, and four popular clubs to dance in. There is country/western dancing at Midnight Rodeo and Rockin' Rodeo, Tejano at Swagitos, and hip-hop at Club 84 (formerly known as Club Rah). These places are all 18-and-up, but only patrons 21 and older are allowed to drink. Places like Buffalo Wild Wings are fun for the whole family and quite popular with college students. Here, those over 21 can have a drink while hanging with their younger friends at karaoke night. Other nighttime fun for all ages includes the movie theatre and the bowling alley.
