Parking is the most complained about thing on campus. The school's parking was built for a much smaller student population, and it has not grown alongside the rising population. The lots were built for a student population of 4,000–5,000 but did not expand when the population rose to 7,000. The only guaranteed parking spots are located as far away from classroom buildings as possible without being off campus. There are currently no plans for expanding the parking lots or rectifying the problem. Students, however, have voiced desire for a parking garage, but it remains to be seen whether or not one will be built.
Where students can park is determined by the permit they hold. C permits are for residential students in the dorms only. B permits are for commuter students who live off campus, and these lots fill up quickly until classes are over. There are also special D permits for students who wish to pay extra money for preferred parking. Students who park in an incorrect lot will be ticketed.
