Security and safety was never an issue in the school. It was a relatively small sized campus and small dorms. RAs were constantly on alert and on call, making their halls feel safe. The only thing that ever made anyone uneasy were the urban legends and paranormal activity on campus.
AMC was and is still considered one of the best colleges for Criminal Justice. My tutition money was well spent on good quality professors. Practicing attorneys and FBI agents as professors.
They were in the middle of expanding and remodeling my senior year.
Something unique that set it apart from other schools would be the study abroad program. Not only its a learning trip but you feel like you are with your family and its a life time experience that you will carry on for the est of your life.
It snows a lot. It is also very windy and cold. Bring lots of layers!
