Scenic and Unique Classes – For a community college, AACC offers a bigger campus rather than a one building campus. There are nature trails, many picnic tables, expanses of green grass, and room to roam about. There are also unique and a wide variety of classes. Almost everything you can think of from masculinity studies, landscape drawing, to gender music power classes, AACC offers.

Online Classes – They offer the registered nursing program all online. It is very helpful. I am able to work as much as I do and take care of everything I need to while still getting the degree that I want.

RN Program – I've heard nothin but good things involved with the registered nursing program. It is one of the best in the state for community colleges and will definately help me get a job just by completing this program.

I loved taking my online class. I could do all my school work from home and also keep a flexible schedule at my job. I loved that the teacher was always willing to answer any questions via email. He had the course outline already set the first day and all assignments with their due dates already on the calendar so no one could forget. I liked that I could chat with fellow students in the class and at one time we had to work together on an assignment and come up with different ideas for a situation. The workload wasn't a lot and we had 4 different attempts at our final exam and the professor was kind enough to take our best grade out of all attempts.

Life as an AACC Student – If you're a working student while trying to go to college, Anne Arundel Community College is the perfect place to go. They have morning, afternoon, evening and even have weekend classes to accomodate with your work schedule. They have many groups that students can join with their free time and they also have athletic teams that students can join too. I prefer AACC because it's cheaper then going to a university and it's not too far between work and home.

Large Campus – Coming from a medium sized university, this campus is pretty large compared to other community college campuses with plenty of parking. But other than that I've never noticed anything else profoundly unique.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Be Time Conscious – It's always important to have the FAFSA and all other financial paperwork done in a timely manner to prevent any delay for registering for classes. But the education received is worth the price and the financial aid advisers were for the most part helpful in explaining the FAFSA processes, but not so much on cost of tuition. It'd be better if the experience with the staff could be more one-on-one.

Suplamental instruction was very helpful. Its students that have taken the class and recieved an A that hold tutoring sessions for the same class. I always did so much better in classes that had an SI over classes that didn't.

Very Versatile – What I liked most about AACC was the many ways you can take classes. You can take classes online in a classroom or both! There are also multiple locations and time slots as well. The instructors and other staff members really take the time to help you with what ever your needs may be.

I havent utilized the campus resources too much yet but AACC does have a gymnasium and auditorium for events and etc. The Arnold campus has a physical library but the Hanover campus does not. I think that an investment to build a library at the Hanover campus would be very resourceful.

The online courses AACC offers are very straight forward. Everyone learns differently and at a different pace. Some students prefer online courses. I like how AACC offers the Chemistry lecture online as well as in the classroom. An AACC student can possibly take the majority of his/her courses online and be able to handle personal business outside of school during the day. There's a lot of flexibility.

The AACC Community – At Anne Arundel Community College, the administrative staff is very helpful. The professors and office personnel are always readily available to assist the students. I plan to transfer to UMBC for Health Administration and Policy and AACC introduced a new Health Administration transfer program that correlates to the UMBC program so that transfer students can finish quicker.I am proud to say that AACC lives up to their slogan and that AACC can truly "get you there".

Academic Flexibility Review – Most classes have several sections at several times during the day, or several times during the week, making things generally more easy while putting together a schedule for classes and a balanced workload.

AACC Review Summary – AACC is a really nice campus with really friendly staff and students. It is nice because the classes are generally small, so there is time to get the attention and and ask the questions one needs to in order to be successful. As well as, feeling as an individual, and not just a nameless faceless number among the masses.

Students Are Diverse – The student body is very diverse at my school. Some are young and some are old. Many work and go to school also. There are many different ethnic, religious, and economic backgrounds. I enjoy the diversity because you can meet many different types of people.

Great Professors – The professors are concerned about student learning. Most of the professors I have had helped me learn the content in an effective way. My education classes have been very fun because of the professors. They know how to make the class fun and effective.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am getting an excellent education and it is well worth the money I am paying. I got financial aid, which made it possible, but it was not enough because I only recieved loans. I learned that I need to apply to more scholarships to make it more possible for my education.

The labs are decent and I often found myself printing on campus. It was fine

I signed up for a winter online class and a spring online class. I failed my winter online class due to attendance. How do you attend an online class??? It was because I have a Macbook laptop, the system is not compatible. Guess who did all the work and did not find that out until after the semester ended? I immediately withdrew from my spring class to prevent this from happening. I had to make up those classes in the actual classroom for it to not effect my GPA. The entire experience was horrible and I do not recommend taking online classes at this institution.

I enjoy going to AACC because it is close to my home and work. I believe it will be a good choice for me to transition from HS to college, while learning to balance education with work and social life. A few of my friends who went from HS to out of state universities have since come back home and tried to transfer in state. I'm happy with my choice. I've only withdrawn from one class over 2 years because of a professor, other than that I have loved each class and been successful. If you are normal, you might make a friend or two in class, but it is unlikely you will stay friends with them after the semester ends. Normal people are trying to get in & out. Weird people actually hang out on campus.

Useful, but No Joke – Online courses are very useful. they allow students who simply dont have enough hours in the day to physically attend the school to pursue their degree of choice. Just about every field of study provides online courses and they are very effective if taken properly.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Stay Productive – The value of an education is limitless. If you have an opportunity to potentially receive financial aid for paying for school, take the opportunity. My school provides plenty of information regarding financial aid, due to the fact that most of it's students continue their education by transferring to a university.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Not Bad – Tuition very reasonable. AACC is known for it's quality education and low prices; I definitely think it's worth the money.

Outstanding Education! I have really enjoyed college at AACC. 95% of the teachers are top notch and most really care about student learning. I would definitely recommend this school to anyone looking for a solid education.

Very Convenient – The distance to the school isn't bad at all, and they are located in two seperate places which makes selecting a class easier. Classes are reasonable in length and the academic advisors do a great job of helping you select classes that best suit you
