I have received help from other students in my program but the the department chairs seem to be busy a lot of the time.

My school is fairly easy to attend. The academic advising team is helpful and so is the faculty. They want to make sure you have everything you need.

AACC recently refinished their library and things are super easy to find. Getting help is also very easy and everyone is ready to help whenever you ask.

Most of my classmates are mothers or people going back to school to better their education. Socializing and partying is not their main priority. They tend to focus more on their studies than anything. They are mostly friendly people who are working to better their lives.

I have never used any of these facilities. My major is not a major that these facilities can assist me with.

Academics are head above the rest at AACC. Just because it's a community college doesn't mean you won't get the best. I've heard people from other community colleges and from large state university say they wish they had the teachers and the education we have at AACC.

The college offers a lot of free shows and activities to it's students, you just have to keep your ear to the ground.

I've never really used any the facilities on campus, such as the gym, pool, or anything like that.

Class schedules are pretty flexible. Still, I'd like to see more classes offered at the main campus. For instance, a few classes of my degree at offered only at a different campus, and I really would like to take them in person.

The college's site was recently redesigned and is still suffering bugs. Many things are hard to find still and some of the features that they used to have were missing. With the recently renovated library, however, there is plenty of room for student access to computers and I've never had to wait so far.

I never had that much problems before with the professors or the class registration. I am a returning student so I am going to see how this year goes but so far I had no problems.

I had a little issue with time cause of my job and not be able to have time to complete course in the time they give me. I am going to give it another try this year.

This school was is 100 times better than Baltimore City Community College. I also met several of my close and life time best friends here. The place is a great location for me to go to either campus for classes. Very helpful and easy to return back to school after a few years break.

The library recently got renovated and it is fantastic--the perfect place to study! There really isn't a part of the campus that isn't comfortable to sit down and relax or study in. There's a beautiful courtyard in the middle of the main part of campus that a lot of students like to hang out in. The campus is always clean and welcoming, and the buildings are really well taken care of. We actually have an extremely nice gym right next door to AACC that offers discounts for students. The athletic facilities at AACC itself are fairly extensive and accommodating.

The student body at AACC is extremely diverse. Students tend to come from a wide variety of different backgrounds, and I haven't met a person who was disinterested or unfriendly in any of the classes I've been in it aside from an Algebra class which consisted mostly of kids fresh out of high school (I wouldn't necessarily blame it on their personalities, I'd say that's an age factor). Everybody seems to get along with everyone else just fine and all and all the Student Body's pretty great. :)

Anne Arundel Community College always has events open to the public and/or students on campus. They offer children's summer camps, job fairs, holiday events and a lot of other things I can't immediately recall off of the top of my head. It'd be nice to see as strong of a presence in the school's literary magazine as there is with the school newspaper, but the work included in the magazine is usually very good. Emails notifying students of activities or free classes that may be useful to them are sent out frequently.

The computer network at school runs a bit slow from time to time, but it's understandable considering the amount of traffic it must get. Taking that into consideration, it's definitely acceptable and greatly appreciated. The computer labs are numerous, spacious and the equipment's always up to date and running--I've rarely seen a malfunctioning computer. Printing on campus recently got tapered to a set amount, but it's understandable considering the amount of stuff people tend to print when there aren't any restrictions in place. All and all I'm extremely happy with our computer network and use of technology. The only gripe I'd really have is the response time of some of the professors that offer online courses, but that's not really school administration's fault.

For the most part I am happy with my classes, teachers and grading process
College Senior 2013-07-08T14:06:01Z
Trying to boot up any computer in the labs on campus is frustrating. If you just want to print something quickly expect to sit there for 5 minutes while the computer loads.

I Am Looking Forward to Starting – I have taken all of my prerequisites at AACC for the Physician Assistant program, and enjoyed all of them. The teachers were really knowledgeable about the subjects they taught and were really helpful. I am really looking forward to starting the PA program in the Spring!

Community college price is great. I am happy with the cost here

Besides the new Angel being very slow, online classes have been going well

Its a great school and really what you make out of it. The professors are excellent and really are there to teach you and make sure you understand. Anne Arundel is different than most of the community colleges in the area.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
