Tuition & Financial Aid:
I am a PSEO student here, so I do not need any type of financial aid.

There is a homework help center with students and professors help, and very helpful "HelpDesk" people and tech people.

ARCC has a great glassblowing program. The classes focus on the very basics, the very advanced, and everything in between. The advanced students are always in the studio, and ready to help out a beginner with any problems. They have an advanced, and spacious studio that provides an excellent learning environment.

The new visual arts building is great. Not even focusing on the actual studios, the halls display student art everywhere, and it is a great area to just chill and study between classes.

The wireless network on campus has never crashed when I'm using it, and provides a steady, good quality connection. There are multiple computer labs, with an open seat always available.

People normally just play around and do not do their work.

Tutors in student center are great for math confusion

The students on my campus typically are always on the go--either running to their next course, playing sports, going home to take care of children, or racing to go to work. There are spots at Anoka-Ramsey that are more popular to hang out, but the diversity of the groups isn't that great. For example, if you go to the gym, expect to find students who are busily exercising or very into athletics. If you go to the student lounge on the first floor, expect to find the more hyper, younger group of video game players. The students over all are either very excited for classes and socializing or are too busy.

They have a section online to apply for a job on campus, however there aren't that many positions available.

If the students really need help the students can go meet a tutor in the school and there is no cost which is good. The students can also see what time there professors are in there offices if they want to ask any questions.

I think the staff really helps u but the thing is that they only have limited to to help the students because they have so many others to help.
College Senior 2013-02-24T07:46:38Z
Everything there is just good it makes the students really belong.
College Senior 2013-02-24T07:44:18Z

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Through my experience at Anoka Ramsey, I feel the education is worth what I am paying. For just my general courses, the price is reasonable and affordable. I am lucky enough that I don't even need to take out a student loan for my first year because I am able to work and pay for the tuition month to month.

Overall, the resources on campus are beneficial. An A is deserved for the brand new athletic center that was just constructed and also the skyway in between the Visual Arts building and the main building on campus. The student center is functional and the library is most times quiet and good for studying.

I had a good time making my scedule and I have plenty of time for other things as well. I haven't beenin college very long though, I only started this spring semester and hadnt been to any others school. I havent had any problems though.

There is alot of diversity. I meet new people alot. They are all friendly and talk alot to random people. They tend to play games and participate in alot of outside the class activites. They are alittle loud when in the commons area. They accepted me pretty well despite our differences.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The education is pretty good and at the same time there is also alot of out side of classes things to do, so I can have fun with friends between classes. I have financial aid to cover it all but my lunch. I did the fincial aid before even deciding to go to there though, so I dont know what its like there. But working with the finacial Aid office for the last finishing touches in order to finish applying was not a problem. I really dont have any tips but that if you can you should aplly for Trio SSS and/or Disability Services.

The network is always up, and printing is incredibly easy. I do wish our credentials for logging into the network wouldn't expire after 2 hours, it makes online classes harder to work with.
College Junior 2013-01-31T23:49:04Z
The professors there are incredibly helpful in and out of class. Unlike many of the high school teachers I have encountered, the professors at the college I go to will alter their way of teaching to suit my needs so I can understand and succeed. They then teach me the normal method and it becomes much easier for me to understand. I have yet to meet any teachers that haven't been helpful; they all want me to succeed and will take the extra time to help me.

My school mostly consists of low to middle-class income students who generally live in or near the county of Anoka. There's plenty of ethnic diversity, and many opportunities to meet and join new "groups" or "cliques". Most of them are looking to transfer to a different college.

The health and wellness center just opened and it is very nice! Plenty of space to do what you want and many machines. I have been getting emails about all kinds of things to do on campus such as zumba class.
College Senior 2013-01-27T23:35:06Z
The school is very diversy. I haven't been there very long but from what I see there are people from all over. There are students from PSEO age and beyond which is cool to see.

I gave a B+ because though ARCC doesn't have anything amazing, it does what it can for being so small. It is also nice that at both campuses there are many opportunities right around the corner from the campus; it isn't like you are out in the middle of no where.
Recent Alumnus 2013-01-15T18:09:51Z
Currently I am just doing my generals, so I have experienced many different types of classes, all of which have been great at ARCC. All of the teachers are really passionate about what they teach and they want you to know as much as possible when they are done teaching you.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
