I have not enjoyed it; and from what I hear others have had similar experiences. The online courses I have taken require much more work than seated classes. In one course, I had an assignment due everyday. Usually, professors will pick a day of the week when all your assignments for the week are due. For example, all assignments will be due on Monday. All quizzes due on Wednesday. All tests are due on Friday. The assignments, quizzes and tests are usually available to work on one week before they are due. The instructors are usually available online with no face-to-face contacts.

As of this semester, I have had no experience with this school's version of online classes.

There's obviously a lot less interaction with both peers and professors in an online environment. Some of my online teachers have overcome this defecit by requiring many group projects, which is conducive to peer relations. Overall, ARCC does a very good job of trying to overcome the obstacles of online education.

Online Class Relationships – Some teachers that teach online are very helpful and communicate to you in a timely manner while others are very delayed and take weeks. Can get a bit fustrating at times.

I took an online Statistics class. I have always been very good at math, but I couldn't understand why I was doing an equation for example. I got 100% on two of the three tests, but I couldn't tell you what I learned. I just knew what to do, but not why.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
