The weather in the high country is unpredicatable, and with little to no on-campus parking, you need to be ready to face the elements, which means always having an umbrella and jacket. It snows quite a bit, but as long as the free buses can run, class is on, so don't count on too many snow days. But a beautiful fall or spring day on Stanford Mall, priceless. Be sure to pack a hammock and frisbee for those!
