There are some lots (Hill Street, State Farm, South Lot) where you don't have to move for football games. However it stands to reason that those three lots are the furthest away from everything.

The reason why it is so terrible is that it is costly to get a parking spot, and there is not enough handicapped spots.

As a freshman, parking is terrible. Upperclassmen get priority and take up the worthwhile spots on campus.
