Appalachian State University Greek Life was reviewed by kaitlyjwoodard1

Lots of sororities and fraternities to suit your every desire; however, all of the houses are off campus. So if you are looking for the quad atmosphere, this is not the place for you.

Appalachian State University Guys & Girls was reviewed by kaitlyjwoodard1

The people here are all very earthy, so if you like that kind of style this is the place for use. However, you've still got all of your clone sorority girls and your beefy spoiled football players, that are always considered attractive. I would say App has a pretty attractive student body.

There is food for anyone and everyone, the local cuisine is delicious and the restaurant staff throughout Boone is always friendly to students.

Appalachian State University Local Atmosphere was reviewed by kaitlyjwoodard1

Boone is a town that loves and thrives off of the university. The main street always has study related discounts, and the town all but shuts down for athletic events! There is always something to do, mostly outdoor things but there is also shopping and movie theaters!

Appalachian State University Drug Safety was reviewed by kaitlyjwoodard1
C

Weed is a very popular past time at Appalachian State, there is a three strikes kind of rule depending on how much you have. Prescription drugs are not tolerated, will result in expulsion/suspension. Alcohol is not as prevalent on campus, because we don't have a Greek quad or any houses.
