You have to take a course on drug and alcohol safety before each semester which goes very in depth.

The police are very strict, so don't be stupid about things that you obviously shouldn't be doing. In short, just think before you do something.

There is always something to do if you go to the right places. The parks are beautiful, and walking around Glenside is something that can be very peaceful at the right time of day.

Off-campus dining is very convenient. There is a McDonalds and Wendy's right down the street as well as Dunkin Doughnuts and Seven Eleven. As for restaurant type places, we have a diner across the street from the campus and a local tavern/restaurant on top of a Chili's that is in the opposite direction of that.

The tuition is pretty expensive and the Food is terrible. I can't wait to get home to have real food. All the kids complain about it. For the money we are paying they should be ashamed.

I was really disappointed in the amount of aid the school gave me.

The facilities to receive tutoring is very good. The food is the only thing that's not all that great

Guys & Girls:
Guys and girls hang out with people similar to themselves. Like the party kids hang out with the party kids, the athletes hang out with mostly athletes, etc.

At Arcadia I feel welcomed. It's easy to make life long friends and it provides a balance between social life and academic life. The school administrators try everything they can to keep students stress free and happy. For example, during finals week they had a stress reduction day where faculty members brought their dogs on campus.

The people in the Chat are friendly and the food is fine. Even though the panini machine is broken half of the time. The dinning hall food is best on days when a tour is coming through but otherwise it is no different than any other college cafeteria.

There is no transportation because the campus is minuscule and you can walk from one side of campus to the next in 5 minutes. However they have zip cars now for rental, and those are ridiculously expensive. Also, freshman can't have cars on campus except certain circumstances.

Health & Safety:
The health center is almost always closed. It is closed on weekends, so god forbid you get sick on a weekend you are out of luck. The good thing is they have cheap/free STD testing and shots available. However, I always feel safe on campus! It's too small to feel unsafe because there are safety officers EVERYWHERE.

Things are great, but sometimes they get a little bit redundant.
College Sophomore 2012-12-12T18:18:46Z
All of these are top-of-the-line, welcoming places.

It's beautiful in the spring and fall but gets really cold in the winter and makes it hard to walk to campus. But we have a beautiful campus

Financial aid is very helpful. They do everything they can to get you as much money as possible.

Near Arcadia Universtity there are a few 21+ bars that are within walking distance of the campus but even more within driving distance. As far as underage nightlife many students take the train into Philadelphia over the weekends to have a little fun. In the city there is plenty of things to do but in the towns around Arcadia University, they are fairly quiet.

Around Arcadia University, the surrounding towns are Glendside, Keswick, and Cheltenham. These towns include restaurants, malls, stores like Walmart and Target, as well as thrift shops and quaint cafes. Also in the town of Glenside there is a market that takes place every Saturday morning. The towns are relatively small and give off a nice small town feel; however if your more interested in cities, Philadelphia is a short drive/train ride away.

Arcadia University is currently trying to build up the athletic facilities and teams in order to get our name out there in the sports community. Fan support has been growing over the past two years I have been here but we are still not there yet. Many of the teams are still not up to par, meaning they do not win many of the games or matches they play, but there has been a significant increase from last year since they brought in new strength and conditioning trainers.

Impossible to get a spot during the day. At night, however, it is much easier.

Always available. The technology here is very up-to-par. We have both PCs and Macs available.

Health & Safety:
They are always present; however, unless it is an emergency, campus safety is very difficult to get a hold of.
College Sophomore 2012-11-01T17:44:34Z
There is a lot available; however, most places are pricey.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
