The dorms for first-year students are small, and due to large amounts of new students, sometimes the dorms have three people to a room. Most of the dorms are attached to the dining hall, except for Heinz, the newest building. Once students reach upperclassman status, they can move into suite-style living in Knight Hall on campus or in apartments right next to campus. Housing is guaranteed, and some students choose to live off campus in other apartments other than the ones Arcadia owns. Heinz is probably the nicest dorm. Most of the other dorms do not have carpeting and are a little older. On the other hand, Knight Hall is another good option, with large suites and a kitchen area on every floor. The Oak Summit and Manor Apartments are nice if you prefer apartment-style living and don't mind a several-minute walk to campus.
