Student Author OverviewWhat's This?

While Glenside doesn't necessarily have all of the traveling amenities that other campuses do, it does have the resource of Philadelphia nearby. If students need to get home, and home is in California, the Philadelphia International Airport is only a 30-minute car ride away. Arcadia students are pretty lucky, considering some campuses are out in the middle of nowhere, where the biggest international airport can be a three- to four-hour ride away. However, the only real obstacle when dealing with getting to the airport is how to get there, which often requires some planning and sometimes begging. Meanwhile, in terms of local transportation, the SEPTA bus system seems to suffice. Students don't necessarily need to have a car to get around.
