I always like the load of my classes about 10 to 15 students, the campus has a network that is very secure. The campus library is very effective. Computer labs are abundant enough to never run into an overbooking. The school consists of mostly working older adults; I am a father of four children, so I am here to get my education, that’s my priority.

The campus has a network that is very secure. They allow us to sign into a cisco agent, as well as the school website before access is granted. The computers are very up to date and efficient. The network is always working and very fast. The only issue I have had is having to sign into cisco more than once during a session.

The campus library is very effective. I like that they utilize online databases that are very important in completing assignments and very easy to access. This cuts down on the need for millions of books. This does not discount their actual library, which is sufficient, but they utilize interlibrary loans for items they don't have on hand. Academic resource centers are great as well. Support is quick, effective, and very resourceful.

The facilities of this campus are great! It is in a well secured building that houses not only a dining hall, but a store as well. There are restrooms anywhere convenient, and there is also a student vending and break area. Computer labs are abundant enough to never run into an overbooking or filled capacity problem.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Well school tuition is high and the financial aid process was good until my last year was good. The customer service is bad. You have people that don't return phone calls or emails.

I am a psych major so my classes have been great so far. I like the classes in my field. The workload is manageable if you have a full-time job and a family so its not overwhelming.

Argosy consists of mostly working older adults. Most people are there to get their education. So time for socializing is not a big priority.

I have not graduated from undergrad. However, from what I can see the maser's counseling program looks good and something I'm interested in.

I would have to say that the professors really work with you. They understand the life of an older adult, working parent and full-time.

The school only has a library, tutoring center and student lounge area. It is not a campus that students lives on so traditional resources are not available. But the three things listed above would get a B.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I'm new & haven't had experience with their teaching & not able to compare them yet.

The reason I chose Argosy is the ability to do most of the work online . Also the campus is close to where I live & is easily accessible. They also had very good reviews of the local universities of their type.

My major is psychology. The environment is very encouraging, if you are willing to put in the time and work. The curriculum is designed to take you all the way to receiveing your Ph.D. Or Psy.D.

Overall I think Argosy is a good university with caring professors. Whenever I have had a problem I go to my professors and they help with no issues.

Interaction among students is not as accessible with an online course as it is in person.

The school is flexible for working adults offering evening and weekend classes.

There really isn't that much difference from the online to the class room setting. The only difference the classroom you interact with the professor and the other classmate. The online is mainly everything is virtual. If you want to contact the professor it would be thru email.

I have no knowlege of this information. I've only attend spring section I and II. For the summer and fall sections all have been online.
College Sophomore 2012-10-11T14:24:55Z
In some classes they tell you where everything is, but there is no repetition and everything is confusing once you find out there's no repetition. The online library is really complicated because if you make a mistake you cannot go back and change something like your location.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Be Steadfast – I feel that the education I am recieving is well worth the money I'm paying. I receive financial aid and would not be able to finish without it, for I have no money. The only problem is there always seem like there is always another form that needs filling out before my fund can be release. I hope that all the forms is final fill and the funds will be release and my bill will be paid.

Wasn't Sure.....Now Positive – I've just recently enrolled in Argosy University. I'm 40 years old and returning to school after 21 years. I knew I wanted to further my education but wasn't sure at what school. The admissions specialist, the financial aid professionals and the Director of Admissions have been extremely helpful, very nice and accommodating. The made my choice easy for me. Hence....now positive!

We have a library and resource lab and have tools to help us get through our assignments. We are offered tutoring and assistance in writing labs, and computer labs.
Have used all the resources and has allowed me to maintain a higher gpa because of these resources available.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
