Excellent Student Centers and Campus Activities – We have monthly workshops that teach library and research skills, there is a lot of diversity here so we have many club activites that are open to all students.

Academic Success – All the advisors and teachers that I have had here at Argosy have been excellent and always willing to help. They also offer many resources to help us with our learning experience. There are workshops and tuturials as well as excellent tutors. The falculty and staff stress academic success from all it's students.

Somewhat Homogenous – Althought the school appreciates and encourages diversity, there is somewhat of a homogenous student body. Classes are typically composed of young, white females. There are very few males, a few older adults, and small percentage of people of color.

Negative Experience – I was not fond of taking an online class. It is difficult to remain focused and motivated to complete the coursework while only working on one's computer. I find it much more engaging to have contact with a professor and other students in a classroom setting. The courses are also typically filled with assignments that I consider to be "busy work." This adds to the frustration level of it being a waste of time.

Wish We Had a Fitness Center – While Argosy does offer yoga and meditation sessions, they are always at a time that I cannot attend. I would really enjoy a fitness center but I don't need it if it increases tuition :)

Tuition & Financial Aid:
On the up-And-Up – Since my courses began in summer semester, there has been some unexpected staff turnover in the financial aid department. I truly feel that my education is worth the tuition I am paying. I appreciate the staff change because I believe this crew to be more experienced and proactive with my aid needs.

My current professors are doctoral graduates of Argosy Chicago and they are the most impressive instructors I've have in my college career. The advisors, professors, and student center are great resources for me. I graduate in a few months, so I have yet to find a position geared toward my degree at this time. However, I feel they are providing above average support to me.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
It Was Painless – In getting help with tuition I had no problems. The advisor walked me through step by step and did follow up calls.

Online Learning – Being an online student I don't get to interact in person with others, but I know that there are people from all over the country in my classes. There are people from all aspect of life, and I learn from tehm every day. I enjoy meeting and learning from others online.

Argosy Online Experience – I love my online experience at Argosy University. Everyone is very helpful. I have had my professors call me at the beginning of the class to introduce themselves. The enrolment was easy, financial aid was sucessful. Classes although online are very structured. I would choose this school again in a heart beat.

Computer Lab – My school offers a computer lab. If the students do not have access to a computer they can go to campus and use the lab.

Diversified Studies – There are a variety of academics offered at my school. The professors are welcoming and they work with you if you need extra attention. My school is primarily a Psychology major school. Most of the classes have some sort of Psychology instilled within it.

Being a Freshman. My school is very inviting. The process was easy for someone who has never been to college. They walked me through the process and were very welcoming.

Formational Learning – The only difference that the online classes offer that the traditional class doesn't is it allows you to ascess your class rom twenty-fourhours a day. you interact with your peer by giving advice and partisipating in discussions. I would recommend it to friends and family. you still are in a classroom and you have an instructor, you have twenty-four hours tech suport as well as tutoring

Majoring Psychology With Psychology Courses – I like this particular school because it focuses on what I am paying for. It starts out just the way it should, focusing on my major and I appreciate that. It is not wasting my time or money and I am grateful because of that.

Most Are Going Back to School – Most of my classmates are older people who already have a degree in another field they are just trying to switch careers. The younger groups seem to have a harder time finding something to say in discussion areas

Pay on the Bill While in School – My only problem came when they told me I would have to pay 10% of my balance to get back in school. When I called to pay it the financial aid person told me I would have to pay the balance in full.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Do Everything as Soon as Possible – If you do not sign a paper every three months before classes begin you have to pay your entire tuition off before entering another class.

Flexibility and Understanding – One of the things I like best about Argosy is the flexibility it allows me as a full-time student and full-time mother of six. Everyone who is staffed here are not only open with you, but they are friendly and willing to go the max for you. So long as you are willing to go the max. They take the time to help you find all the resources you need to help you succeed as a student.
I had spoken with other universities in the Chicago area and they all told me I would be making a huge mistake by passing up the opportunity earning my degree with Argosy. To hear this from other universities really spoke to me and help me make my decision. The President of the university takes his time make make himself known to the schools students. I don't know of any other university where such a person would go to the lengths of making you so comfortable.
The Financial Aid Department sit's with each student and goes step by step over everything, so you understand what is going on. I did not receive this at the other university I had attended. Instead I was run around in circles and left looking like a fool who was ripped off. I thank the staff at Argosy for making everything clear and precise.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
