No school is perfect but Argosy does a great job of.keeping you focused and working toward your goals. They also have professors there that worki the field you are studying, so that means you get the most current education. Signing up for classes is a pain but it's worth it.in the end.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Throughout my career there, I have come across several instances where I was said to owe money to the school. However, when I sought help from my financial aid counselor she did a good job of helping me find more money so that I didn't have to pay too much out of.pocket.

My major is criminal justice and the school does a really great job of providing us with classes that focus on the major. The teachers do help us with any and all aspects of the major and even provide us with job opportunities!

I have not graduated yet, however, I know that it is going to cost a lot of money and that is why the grade is lower than it should. I do know that the post services are very helpful and beneficial to the students because they will help you find a job and the loan department will work.with you on payments.

The students at my school are all very hardworking and live very busy lives. There are also a lot of students that are from the military, which makes this a school for well rounded individuals. Everyone is friendly and nice to one another, I think I have only had one problem with a student in my class verbally attacking me on my discussion posts. However, besides that one incident I have not come across anyone who was rude or overly aggressive. People tend to keep their private lives to themselves, which is nice because I do not like spilling my personal information to my classmates.

Argosy has the option to take classes online and in-class. This is helpful for people who are working, or have busy lives. I also found that submitting my assignments on a website, instead of turning in paper copies is nice. It saves paper and money. There really is no social scene at Argosy, but that does not mean it is a bad school. I enjoy the fact that there is not distractions from my classes and assignments. I went to a four year University, so I know what it was like to attend football games, go tailgating, and to try to join sororities and such, but that really was not for me. I enjoy focusing on my studies, to earn my degree faster. I like how they also changed the Undergrad program from 7.5 weeks to 5 weeks instead. This makes the program fly by, but the downside is keeping up with the workload and reading.

All of these resources are very helpful to everyone at Argosy university because the printing is free and the computer labs are open late. The network reliability is questionable because once every two-three months the system is shut down which does effect the classwork and assignments that are due. So this is an issues, but for the most part everything is very useful!

There are not many resources to be had at Argosy, but the ones that are available are very helpful. The computer labs being open late help people to get their work done. Also, there if free printing which is nice when you need to print out copies of schedules and websites to use in your assignments and such. The student center is also very helpful at answering your questions about graduation, post-graduation and so on. They guide you through all the processes you need. However, I give the resources and A- because the office hours of some of these resources do not help and the fact that the University is far from my home is not beneficial either.

I noticed most of my credits transferred and if they did not, they were converted into elective hours which was helpful. I have only been at Argosy for one year and I am already close to graduating. The one problem I have had is with financial aid, they sometimes do not inform you of paperwork that needs to be done but that is minor. The flexibility of my classes are what keeps me at this school, I enjoy taking classes both in class and online. That is very helpful when I need a break from driving to and from class.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
Argosy has a tier pricing format that they go by. This means that If an individual decides to take one course in a term, they are still charged for two. This happened to me ONCE! Now I take two courses per term and my financial aid isn't affected.

I am pretty new to the school, however, they do help with post graduate issues. My financial aid person has helped me alot and says he will continue to help me with the navigation of my financial aid after I graduate.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
The financial aid/tuition offices don't let you know a lot of information that is important before starting school. They give you all the basic information and some important parts and the rest you tend to find out on your own or through others. But then most schools work this way.

Classes are not flexible at all, we are the ones who are flexible and have to work around school.

The school use to have more events and more spirit. Sometime between the last year or so it has died down and now its just about coming to school and finishing asap.

It's a small school and they are a lot of good resources at school, its just a matter of fact that each student has to learn to be independent and know how to get things done.

The campus definitely has up to date programs and great computers, good internet connections. However each other quarter or so it seems like a lot of things such as software and availability of classrooms have been removed. I am sure it is because of budget cuts but the one part I do not like especially as a student, is that they are general requirement classes or other programs classroom in rooms such as our dual lab room. The only dual lab we have and a culinary class uses it, why do they need two monitors??

My school has a psychology focused faculty. Learning in this type of environment has been interesting for a business major. At first I thought it was going to be challenging, but now I embrace the psychological approach to business.
College Senior 2012-10-15T17:04:50Z
The computer network is always available. I have never had issues logging into any of the sites for school. The computer lab is always open. There is even free printing and you can't beat that!

The facilities at Argosy University Inland Empire is excellent. There is not gym or any sporting arenas but there still is Associated Students and they hold activities throughout the year. There is a library and computer labs for student use. There are also study rooms that can be reserved for study sessions with classmates. For psychology majors there are even testing rooms where you can observe through the glass to examine your experiment.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
