I'm in the Culinary Program, and am really enjoying what I am learning. The one thing I'm a bit confussed about, and that is the equipment we use in the kitchen, is crappy. And for the money that is being paid we should have better equipment and fresher foods.

The professors and the class registration is wonderful. The curriculum is not half-bad, but the work load is a little stressful.

There are no athletics, the library is a small room comprised of some books related to the field, and computers, and there are not a lot of campus activities. The campus is pretty much made up of a three-story building with classrooms in it- not too much to look at.

I do not know for sure how good the post-grad services are at the school, but so far the only career services I have seen have been online, and have not been very beneficial in enhancing students careers. Quite honestly, this school is mostly for profit, and do not care whatsoever on students needs- especially to repay all of the student loans that is required to be taken out. Once you are done, they no longer care.

this is only my second quarter, but so far I have had a great experience with all of my instructors. I am looking forward to my future classes.

I Am Not in an Online Course. I am not in an online course. They are not that helpful unless you know how to use them, and are only good for self-motivated learners.

It has truly an eye opener there is such diversity at the Argosy Orange County campus. I have met a very large variety of students of all ages and learning how to do things differently such as my onlines is very exciting. I love what I have learned to date and look forward to learning from my classmates who have provided a lot on input on how to best study online and to stay on top of my classes. Most of the new students are generally in the same boat as myself. There are many different cultural background including religion and we all not rich but our economic status is generally the same. We look forward to seeing on another on class day which is also amazing.

Online Classes – There is a lot of reading and you must read the assignment before posting a comment online. Once this has been done the students must reponse to their peer discussion by either responding to their comment or posting a question to help that student understand either the assignment or problem that may relate to the discussion question.

Tuition & Financial Aid:
I was not given much direction when I apply for financial aid. Recently, I discovered that my financial aid was held up because my high school had not arrived. So, I needed to get on the telephone and request a rush for the grades. The key is to communicate with the students to let them know what is still needed. Otherwise, I would be force to drop out of school.

Blended Courses - Online/One Day a Week in Class – When I first enrolled in school I was not quite sure that online classes would be beneficial to me. It really frighten me and I have just completed my first semester and I must admit I love being in class one-day a week. The blended courses has also helped me to organize my day and I can go to school when it is convenient for me. Since starting school this past January I have met with my academic advisor several times to make sure that I am comfortable with learning a completely different way by having my classes available to me online.

I believe that this school allows any student to apply on their program provided they have completed all possible requirements, like how they admitted me in the school, even being an international student. Their student body is very diverse, wherein in one class there would 3-4 students coming from any country aside from US.

Free Parking – As much as possible the school tries to accommodate every student and professor who comes to school with their car. Argosy- Orange County provides a free parking for its students and professors; and when it is full they allow students to park in another parking lot near the school and provide a shuttle that would take them back and forth to the parking and school.

My Experience – The main reason I chose this school was because it was based on the school of psychology. I did not want to have to fight for classes, or take many years than neccesary to get my degreee. For the most part the school was flexiable with my classes, and schedule.

Happy Some What – I am happy with Argosy some what. I am sure every school has their issues but with me there always seems to be a road block in trying to get anything done. I recently wanted to continue on with the doctorate program and truly felt like I had to beg for the information.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
