I am not very familiar with Greek Life at any of the ASU campuses.

Transportation is great at the ASU Downtown Phoenix Campus. The available transportations include a shuttle that ASU has that will take you to each campus and they run hourly. Next, they have the lightrail outside the campus that will take you through phoenix and temper areas so you can choose to do that if you'd like they run pretty late. And they have many parking lots within a few blocks of campus that you can choose to park in and walk to class.

The night life is not necessarily safe for being in a high crime area. The best bets are kickbacks, or staying in.

I see an outstanding diverse community on the Downtown Phoenix Campus. Although people are mainly white, I see other sorts of races and everyone is comfortable for the most part with being who they are on campus.

As a freshman I got the chance to live in the upper classmen housing at Taylor Place and I absolutely loved having my own room but still having a roommate right next door to get close to. We have the opportunity to get our privacy when needed, and also can choose to open the door to each other. There are mini gyms on each floor which are great for those late night/ early morning quick gym runs. The common food area is right downstairs, and the lounge areas on each floor are convenient and relaxing.

Being downtown of a major city, there are many options to eat out. I would say there are a lot of fast food places for on the go college students, and also a good amount of restaurants for the night scene. All pretty affordable for a ever so often visit from the students nearby.

It is extremely hot here. Although, the campus is not too large so being out in the heat is some what bearable between classes.

everything is new, or refurbished in a very nice way. everything is close together and easy to walk too... Lots of thought went in to the planning of this campus.

Hot, hot, hot in the summer....not too bad in the winter..
College Senior 2013-07-05T23:32:42Z
very diverse, in nationality, culture, religion and ethnic background!
College Senior 2013-07-05T23:31:50Z
hard to find, and hard to keep up with the due dates.
College Senior 2013-07-05T23:27:32Z
Expensive, and no where else to park except in school parking lots. Many of the lots are scary to walk to at night.

Always a way to get to school without using your own car!

We have a number of places to use computers at ASU. Two non-major specific labs and two general libraries with computer use. Hayden library is often very crowded around midday and it's hard to find a computer to use, but it's good if you have a laptop with you, and most students here do. If it's too crowded and you have time, you can always try another lab/library. The computers in Hayden are pretty glitchy/slow anyway. The ones elsewhere are pretty good. WiFi is easy to find here too.

Health & Safety:
I personally feel safe, but then again, I went on a ride-along with the ASU PD and got to see what they do on a nightly basis. I wish the campus alerts & advisories were better coordinated though. I often get them late when they're sent to my email, which isn't helpful if there was a real threat.

The dining hall food isn't half bad, unless you're at Pitchforks or the Palo Verde dining place. The food gets repetitive really quick too. The staff is really nice though. Also, unfortunately, there aren't many vegetarian or vegan options at ASU either. We have a lot of fast food places on campus, but I'm fond of the Qdoba we have. I tried Engrained (vegetarian dining) but found it to be expensive, and I wasn't very fond of food options. A vegetarian friend of mine loved it though.

I do not qualify for financial aid, but I know others who have. They found it to be quite the hassle for Fall 2011. In Summer 2012, another person I knew was having trouble making ends meet due to the small amount of FA she was given.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
