Party School – I'm not sure if the students are just too well behaved or administration is very lenient on the rules but there's not much "punishment". There are certainly warnings, but they are for things such as parking or noise violations. The school's priorities are just not where they should be.

There are some nice places but they are really expensive so most of the affordable ones are not extremely nice but are ok. Proximity to campus is good.

Health & Safety:
Fairly Safe and Healthy – There are a lot of students and a lot of activity so there is some crime.

Health & Safety:
Good Health Center Not Safest Place – The health center is nice andpretty affordable for students but especially if your a girl it can be an unsafe place because it is so big

Hotter Than Hell – Everyone knows southern AZ is incredibly hot during the summer/fall time. Make sure your car AC functions, wear sunscreen and light clothing.

Great Beginning – The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable when questions or concerns are voiced from the students. Although I am taking classes online, the accessibility and efficiency of the school and it's associates is great.

Pretty Good – There are actually a good amount of parking spaces available to students who arrive before, after or right on time to campus.

The campus shuttle is free and there is always a bus that you can ride.

No Exceptions – ASU has a pretty strict policy on drugs. There are signs everyone explaining the consequences. Marijuana poccession at ASU or in Arizona is a felony. Even if you have a medical prescription. There are NO EXCEPTIONS!

Big and Beautiful – The campus is huge! Its right in the middle of everything which is nice. We have a brand you Education building and they are in the process of building a new Business building, which are both perfect because I'm a business and special ed major. I also play water polo and they just built a multimillion aquatics center that is beautiful. All the new additions have been perks to my experience.

I Love It Here. Other than the heat!!! I'm from San Diego and used to cooler weather, but I love the environment of this college town. You have to fight and stay focused though if you get caught up in the social aspect of it because there is always something going on.

I Had a Really Hard Time. I am from out of state and my tuition is really expensive, and in order to get in state my parents cant help with tuition. I am only able to take one class this semester due to the fact that was all I could get money for and will have to do so until I get in state. I couldn't even get enough money in loans. I received more information about financial aid through the local community college.

Poly Campus – The polytechnic campus has a more chill atmosphere. I love that I don't have to rush around campus and i can take my time when traveling from class to class.

I have enjoy the time I have spent at the polytechnic campus. I was worried about getting lost in a big class or campus. But polytechnic has smaller classes and you get to know most of the students there.

Health & Safety:
Never a Worried Moment – Although there is occasional crime on campus or around campus, I have never felt worried at school. There are always officers wandering around, and as long as you're not mixed up with the students at the bottom of the basket, you're totally safe.

Guys & Girls:
Typical College Campus – There is a plethora of students here, ranging from the socially awkward to the stereotypical jocks; Most of the people here are party people, which is unfortunate, but it is expected. I'm not one to judge the guys, but the girls are pretty cute as well.

Dining Halls Need More Quality – While there are a variety of options available on campus (many of which are fast foods), the dining halls consistently lack quality. Granted, some meals are often delightful, yet even the coveted honors dining hall seems to slack in regards to food quality.
College Senior 2012-08-29T18:28:42Z
Not Overwhelming – While I'm sure that at least half of the students have or currently do drugs, it's not an intolerable issue by any means. Drinking is more common and leads to more dropouts.

Out of State Student – I am an out of state student and receiving financial aid is incredibly easy for me. Based on my high school grades ASU rewarded me with a $40,000 scholarship to spread throughout my four years at this campus.

Entering Into a Communications Major – At the end of my freshman year I switched my major from Business to Communications. I was actually a very easy process. All that I had to do was meet with both of my advisors and discuss my options. After that I made my new communications class schedule and I was done!

I Am a Communications Major – I am a new found communications major and I absolutely love it. The classes are much more interesting than business and I find myself actually eager to go to class in the mornings. I am a little nervous about finding a job after college just because this major is so broad. However, I am working on making connections now so employers will already know about me by the time that I graduate.

The off campus apartments are very nice and close to campus. However, they can be very expensive. It costs about $400 dollars to share a room with someone else off campus and about $700 dollars per month to have a room of your own.

Just Changed My Major – I started college as a Business major. I thought that I would love it but ended up completely despising it. This semester I changed to Communications. The changing process was easy and I am so much more happy with the major I am at right now.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
