Guys & Girls:
Mostly Friendly – Most of the guys and girls are friendly, but there's every once in a while you run into a couple snobby people.

Ok but Repetitive – You get really sick of the food on campus after a couple times in a row. There are only so many times you can eat the same thing (especially at their high prices!). The restaurants and places in the area to eat are way better priced than on campus.

Awesome Affordable Tasty – There are many restaurants near Arizona State University West. From Taco Bell to Goodcents, there are really many options for students within walking distance. Domino's Pizza is also a great option because they accept M&G (campus food plan card). Taco Bell does not accept M&G, but they do give a discount if you show them your ASU ID. Overall, there really are many great places to go off campus when you are hungry!

There is a decent amount of greek life on campus. All the sorrorities and fraternities are very secretive and don't talk about much unless you are a brother or sister. The fee's can also be expensive but for some students they swear by them. I think it is sort of lame in the aspect you are paying for friends but the comradary seems valuable. They often host parties and are always doing something.

The nightlife in Tempe is pretty awesome. You can choose the different type of scene you want in accordance with your preferences. There are some 18 and older clubs but they tend not to be very popular. The local frats and sorroritys are constantly holding house parties and there is a local car company that chauffers you back to your house. The lightrail runs right through campus and into phoenix so it is cheap and easy to get around. There are also huge apartment complexes that always have some commotion going on.

Decent but Could Be Improved – There are quite a few computer hubs around campus but they are very busy. It is often really hard to find a spot but the network reliability is pretty sound. There is always a connection and the speed is adequate but can be a little slow when trying to run torrents or a video stream. Wireless access is normally good but this past year I have found that it is hard to connect. I have to run diagnostics on my mac several times before I can get it to sync.

Nightlife at ASU seemed the funnest while doing homework at a hookah lounge.

Decent Variety, Bad Hours – There are a few good places to eat on campus like Devils Diner, Dave's Doghouse, Engrained, and Barrett the Honor's College's Dining Hall. Then you have your typical fast food (Subway, Papa Johns, Chick-Fil-A). The main problem is the schedule hours kinda suck, and at normal res hall locations like Hassayampa the food sure gets old quick. It just means you have to venture out into campus, which is a sometimes lengthly undertaking. Staff can be unpleasant at times, but most are pretty good. Food quality does vary significantly depending on whose cooking in the dining hall.

Arizona State is very diverse in it's opportunities around campus. There is generally always something to do.

It is a very diverse campus, with many different cultures and multiple ethnicities.

For starters, the technology at Arizona State University is very modern, however not all that efficient. The network is often very slow, and often very difficult to connect to. As a full-time student with a lot on my plate, it can often be frustrating. However, when the network isn't being 'stubborn', for lack of a better word, it works just fine.

Great Early Childhood Education Program – New iTeachAZ program is a great opportunity for education majors to complete their degree and be in high demand by school districts.

Covered parking is expensive. Cheap lots are on the edge of campus and a good hike from classes especially when it is 110 degrees.

Living on Campus – I love living on campus especially because the CA on the floor is extremely friendly. We are always doing interesting things such as going to 5 guys for dinner and having movie nights in the hall. We are currently thinking about having a bowling night for our floor. Or just scehduling a floor party so everyone can just hang out and watch movies in the student lounge that is located across the hall in the building.

I have only been going to school on campus at ASU for a semester and I can already see that there are people from all over the world. Just in my classes there are people from all parts of the country. When walking around campus to and from classes there are signs showing clubs for different political views, religions, and ethnicities.

Convenience Rocks! Arizona state is located right in the heart of Tempe, Arizona so say hello to downtown and the state famous Mill ave! There you can find chain restaurants(BK, Jack in the box, Five guys, Panda express) as well as smaller local restaurants (phoenicia cafe, michael monti's la casa vieja, Ztejas) that are all excellent and know that most of the clients are students so prices are kept reasonable.

Advising Is Exactly What Is Done! In Arizona State advising is just down right helpful. The advisors are not uncomfortable to talk to, they really listen to your questions and find the best solutions for your situation.

Easily Accessible – Things got a little confusing with all the forms I had to fill out, but I received a very good amount of aid and it helped me very much!

Amazing Experience! Being here at ASU gave me a chance to meet new people, expand my horizons, and explore a new city! I wouldn't trade my memories for the world!

Campus Activities – There are always things to do on campus! You'll never be bored!

Nice campus, almost like it's own little city, plenty of dorms and off-campus apartment housing available, few miles from mall, free stuff everywhere, parties and concerts nearby all the time.

Parking is not bad at the west campus. You can easily find a parking spot.
College Junior 2012-03-08T22:03:58Z
Drinking Is More Popular – The drug scene is not really a problem its more liquor.
College Junior 2012-03-08T21:52:55Z
Guys & Girls:
No Body Really Talks to Each Other – The guys and girls here on the west campus do not really interact with one another.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
