Multiple Options – There are several good options for transportation around campus (especially in the Tempe area). City buses and free shuttles, plus free campus and inter-campus shuttles. Late-night transportation can be a problem; most university transportation options stop at 10pm, city buses run until about midnight.

Biased Opinion – I'm not your average college kid. I love learning so my college experience is 99.99% positive, just like the rest of my life. That .01% are those rare moments that I think something is actually worth stressing about. That .01% never lasts long.

Lax With Facts – As long as you don't go off the deep end generally you won't find yourself in trouble. Don't do stupid s*** if you even think someone might be watching, because there's police and security usually always nearby.

Always a Breeze – In all of my experiences everything has been very easy to use and there are all the resources I need available. Whenever any issues arose, there was always helpful staff available to resolve my problem.

Not That Great – Nothing special at ASU, just your everyday college.

Good but Pricey – There are a lot of options for food, a lot fo restaurants, stores, coffee shops, diners, smoothies, bagels, frozen yogurt, etc. But eating too much of it can be pretty expensive. Same goes to for meal plans - the barret food is wonderful, but the most expensive.

Health & Safety:
I feel extremely safe on campus. It's a big school - but that's part of why you can trust it so much. The police are friendly, and watch out for you. You can get rides from security if you need it. There are plenty of these weird blue lights you can run to in emergencies. And you know that no one can jump out at you in such a crowded place. If you leave something like a phone or a bike unsupervised, then yeah its going to get stolen. That happens anywhere. And dont leave your bike unlocked or overnight. But aside from that, everything seems fine to me.

Lots of Variety – There is a vast amount of diversity on campus at Arizona State University.

During the winter the weather is absolutely awesome, around 60 or 70. The fall and spring are also wonderful, around 80 or 90. Once the summer comes though, it can be a slightly unbearable walking to class because it can reach up to 120. It maybe rains once or twice a semester.

Not Really Big – There is a relatively small drug scene, and drinking is definitely more popular. Sometimes you'll meet people who smoke marijuana, but much less people do cocaine, lsd, or pills, and there is no occurrence that I have encountered with Meth or Heroine.

Very Diverse Campus – I'd say our campus at ASU is quite diverse. There are many different races. All religions, political beliefs, and sexual orientations are accepted. Diversity is celebrated.

The computer lab has plenty of computers and they are all in great condition. Printing is easy, and the network is usually pretty reliable and has an okay speed. Bringing your own computer isn'tbreally necessary.

Printing on Campus – It's pretty annoying that I have to have sundollars to print one sheet of paper.
College Senior 2012-01-17T02:44:53Z
Fun Atmosphere – There is always something going on on-campus, there can be music going on and clubs and different classes doing activities outside that peak the interest of visiting people and other students walking to class. there is never a dull day at ASU

I've No Idea – not much as for a presence on campus. They are here, but it's not a prominent part of the school.

Mill Ave – If you go out, go to Mill. It's right next to campus with good diversity of attractions, unless you've a car and are loaded, in which case go to Scottsdale.

It's What You'd Expect – Some of the rooms are large, some are small. It really depends where you are, If you are smart enough to get into Barrett honors college, then live on campus. if not, look elsewhere.

Drug and Alchol – Drugs are not very common at ASU, you would have to be with a really bad crowed to even realize that there are drugs anywhere near campus. Drinking is more common because most of the student body is older and find more interest in going to the bars near campus.
College Senior 2012-01-17T02:37:21Z
There are many students of all different race and religions at ASU, in the past i have been used to seeing mainly only white individuals but attending ASU I am astounded by the diversity of the student body at ASU and feel very comfortable with the atmosphere.
College Senior 2012-01-17T02:17:33Z
Food Service – I don't technically eat at school rather back at home or bring my own lunch. It's expensive to buy lunch at school, unless I'm starving I'll get something at taco bell or a smoothie at Starbucks.

Okay but Could Be Better – Financial aid is substantial at ASU, but it would be nice if they increased their merit scholarships as they increased the tuition. Many students who received a merit scholarship no longer have a free ride since tuition hikes have increased past the President's Scholarship.

There is a multitude of races and individuals on campus. You will see many different traditions and cultures as evidenced by the numerous organizations and people itself.
