Tuition has gone up 19% since 2009. Fees have been added to different majors, and the quality of Professors is low. I paid for the name of the college, but it did not live up to my standards of what I expected for my education. I graduate with frustration and disappointment. Am I prepared...NO!

Modernized Dorms – Most of the dorms at Arizona State are pretty modernized and have a contemporary look to them. At almost every dorm there is some type of restaurant where you can walk down and grab a bite to eat.

Computing Commons – The Computer labs at Arizona State are really good and they give you the opportunity to use the operating system you are comfortable with. The networking is awesome and you rarely have outages.

I'm in my third year of attending ASU, and I couldn't be happier here. Not only am I proud to attend ASU because it's a great school, but also because I am many of family members who attended ASU. The atmosphere of the campus over all is always so positive and lively. Another thing that I loved is that if I was ever struggling in a subject they notified me and guided me where I could receive free tutoring.

ASU offers free transportation to all the campuses, the light rail is so close it is literally on campus, and the zip cars are located on campus as well.

The University parking permits can be expensive, however I discovered that they offer free transportation going to all campuses. This has helped me out financially in so many ways. I now take the bus to the Tempe campus and after my classes there, I take the shuttle that's offered to the Downtown campus. Another form of transportation that can be very helpful is the light rail. You can drive to the light rail, park in their free parking lots, and take the light rail directly to school

Don't Count on It – I was very happy to be awarded with 13,000 dollars a year in a scholarship which helped to make my college decision. A month after classes started, they informed me my award was being cut in half and I owed more money that semester.

Arizona State University has a wide range of challenges because its such a big school with many campus sites. You have so many options and there are so many different ethics and social backgrounds. I like because of the different people and professors.

The Rules Are There – The rules are there, but what dorm you live in or what campus is how well the hold on the rules.

VERY Different – There are so many different people here. It leads to learning more about different people and different cultures. ASU is perceived as a party school only but there are a lot of people who like to do other things then party. Many people here are also very accepting of different religions and are very interested in what you have to say. The only annoying thing are the non-students who come on campus to preach, but as long as you say no thank you to their pamphlets you are good to go.

They have both macs and dells for students to use. The wireless drops often but simply getting an ethernet cord for your dorm solves that problem in a snap. When the internet is up (about 80%) of the time it runs perfectly. When it drops you just reset your wireless or airport and it comes back on. Not a big problem but just a tad annoying when it happens often. Its a bit difficult to find places to print but they are there as long as you look.

The people here at Asu have a variety of races but most people of the same race stick to there own kind. There are a majority of Asian and White students that go here. Likewise, their isn't a lot of African Americans or Indians, only a small handful.Overall, the amount of females and males that go here seems very reasonable. Most people here are friendly, while some can be stuck up and judgmental.Specifically, the students from out of state.

The variety of restaurants at ASU have really good eat out places. Anything that you may be craving they have it. Although, some places don't give out student discounts. For example, Ihop and Chillies. However, the majority of the restaurants near by give out good discounts. One of my favorites is Panda Express and Chipotle because they give out a lot of food. There burritos are really big, yet its very healthy to eat as well. Wendy's, which is close by to the dorms allows students to use thier student card to buy food which really helps save money.

I go to Arizona State University, and my major at my school can be fun but at time very stressful.Simply, because its time consuming and their is a lot of guidelines you have to follow. however, all my professors are helpful and understanding. Even though some can be strict and a pain sometime I like them as individuals. Also there are a lot of available internships and jobs in the Art field. Its really neat to be ab;e to visit different Art Museums and explore programs such as drawing, 3D Art and more.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
