Overall, the off-campus housing for upperclassmen is pretty good. They may be a little bit pricey, but the facilities are up to date, and modern.

It's very much a city with a lot to do. There is great shopping on Mill Avenue, and Fashion Square in Scottsdale just 15 minutes away. There's always something fun to do at night.

Since I attend the West campus, there are not many teenage clubs. However, the schools shuttle drives to each campus so that students can still engage in activities on other campuses, especially the Tempe campus since there are more bars/clubs and parties.

Health & Safety:
In case of emergencies, ASU has "blue lights" set up so that if anyone feels that they are in danger anywhere on campus, they can push the button on one of these and security will come right away.
College Senior 2011-02-02T03:21:36Z
Permit costs are actually pretty cheap but finding a spot is a hassle. Then you have to worry about moving your car to the other side of campus on game days
College Senior 2011-02-02T03:20:34Z
Varsity Sports are mediocre at ASU it seems like some people enjoy the sports while others don't. Our football team is mediocre but our Basketball team is good. Although ASU is a D1 school it doesn't always seem like it.

Off campus dining is very good they have some of the best choices near campus. Chiptotle, In-n-out, Chili's, Jack in the Box, McDonalds, Jersey Mikes..etc

Greek Life on a scale of 1-10 is about a 7 at ASU. You always see the girls with their sorority bags or the boys with their greek shirts. More than half the campus is involved Greek Life

ASU is totally a MAC campus. Every classroom you go into has a MAC computer with everything you need. The computer commons even sells more of MACs then PC's

I came to Arizona State University for my major so far I have only taken one class that actually relates to my major. Most of the professors at this campus are very helpful they tell you to come to office hours and help with tutoring. The academics at ASU are amazing

Not Too Much – It's not too strict on campus, anti drug usage is enforced. but there are a variety of freedoms. the campus is public

ASU tempe campus is a pretty adjustable and adaptable environment...almost anywhere you need to go is walking distance
College Junior 2011-01-31T06:46:48Z
If anything the summer is a little hard, because it's so hot all the walking makes you sweaty. Ew.
College Junior 2011-01-31T06:43:37Z
So Many Languages. I walk around campus and here so many different languages, its exciting and refreshing.

This major is interesting because it talks about your body and how it moves and reacts. I like it because you can learn and understand the causes of one aspect of movement or the effects of another.

There could be more scholarships, but they have made it really easy to search all of the scholarships ASU has to offer.

Everyone works really hard to get into the nursing program at ASU. The program is really great. All the teachers really care about your success. Everyone in your block will become a close nit group. The program is very difficult, but if you made it to the program, you'll make it through the program.

Greek Life is not big at the ASU Downtown Campus. If your looking for Greek Life, go to the Tempe Campus. There are no Greek Houses at the Downtown campus.

Horrible Parking Options – The only thing that works well is the flash bus that takes students around campus. Other than that the parking situation is horrible and the permits are not affordable.

Health & Safety:
I think it could be a little bit more lit, but overall I usually feel decently safe while walking around at night.

The printers almost always seem to run out of toner at least twice a year. Then, it takes forever to get them replaced, and as a Graphic Design student, I am left in the dark with printing.

More Money? One of the reasons i decided to get a dorm on campus was because the parking permit is a bit out of my range. I think it's more money for the gas and for the parking. It sucks more when you're late because you get the awful parkings; they are FAR away and you end up being late to class.
College Senior 2011-01-26T05:48:26Z
Good Place to Stay – The dorms are great at the downtown campus. You get to chose if you want to share rooms or just the restrooms. We have a gym on the second floor and also a starbucks. I would rate the quality of this dorms a TEN from a 1-10 scale because they are clean. Although the cost varies by which tower you stay, the social atmosphere, and the experiences are priceless.

No More Please – Having a meal plan is good but I don't recommend to get it unlimited meal. The food is good but also, you get tired of eating the same repetitive meals. I suggest to go around campus and visit the different restaurants in downtown. There's fancy places to go but also there's places that take you home; having a variety foods from different places around the world. Going back to the dinning halls on campus, the food is great and you eat "buffet style" although its good but too much repetitive food is not as great.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
