Easy Access and Convenient – Labs and computers in class have all or most of the software needed to complete my assignments. The computers and system allow students to download programs they need for their classes with no extra cost.

Always Something to Do – With over 60,000 students at ASU there's always something to do. There's bars, house parties, frat row, Vista and the Vue to name a few places. Cab rides are easy to get and cheap to split!

Nice but Lacking in Some Areas – Technically there isn't any off-campus housing. All of ASU is a dry campus so it's controlled by faculty still. The apartment complexes run by ASU that are for upperclassmen though, are very nice and spacious with their own kitchen, washer/dryer, air conditioning, gym, and more. There are still RAs and police that are very strict and patrol the area. There also isn't any wireless internet which is almost a necessity for a college student.

Not Bad but Could Do Better – I actually like the dining halls on campus, but without a meal plan the cost is about $8. Also, all the markets that sell fruits, cereal, and other staple items hike up the prices to ridiculous amounts so that no college student could afford it. I'm so glad that a Subway went in to the Hassayampa market. It makes meals cheaper and healthier than eating in the dining hall. Now that I'm off a meal plan, there are limited areas to eat at. Domino's, McDonalds, Jimmy John's and Subway are ones within walking distance. There are also some fast food chains in the Memorial Union but they close early and usually aren't open on the weekend.

The majority of the students walk or ride their bikes to school. It saves students approximately $1,000 a year by doing so.

Arizona Western College – On a one mile street, we have a brand new high school, elementary school, the community college and junior high school. It gets rather hectic to get to class on time in the mornings because of all the traffic. The nice thing is that the mall is only 10 minutes away!

Arizona State is known for having one of the best football teams in the state. They work hard during practice and their games and it makes us proud to be a ASU SunDevil!

Greek Life – Greek Life at ASU is great. I am involved in Greek Life and i feel it is the best perk to going to ASU and would encourage everyone o do it.

Chill Out Campus Police – Campus police are strict, but Tempe police are cool and lenient when it comes to ASU students. The campus police are just trying to make sure nothing goes wrong on the campus and the campus be held responsible and the city police are out to look out for the safety of the people in the city.

Guys & Girls:
Diversity Is Key – The girls and guys at ASU are a group of diverse students that learn to come together for a common goal, to become educated. It is plenty of activities to keep all motivated and continue to pursue degree at ASU. Girls are exotic and the guys are educated and fit. There i of course more girls than guys so it keeps us happy.

From the Eyes of a Non-Greek – Greek life, thankfully, does not dominate ASU life. You can always tell who is a member of a house, but you don't feel left out by choosing not to rush. Also, ASU offers a handful of purely educational and community Greek houses, so you can always feel like part of a larger family without being stuck with a stigma of "Frat Boy" or "Sorority Girl." Also, the best part, there are no houses on campus! You never have to see them outside of school if you don't want to.

Health & Safety:
It Could Be Worse – I have never had any issues on campus, but I also do no live on campus, have a bike, or are around much after sunset. I am glad that the campus offers safe transport around campus after dark, but I wish it would be extended to frequent areas AROUND campus (campus living apartments, the mall, Mill Ave.)

The campus has plenty of parking for those who live in the dorms and parking for those just attending classes. The garages require a permit at a resonable cost. Since I don't live on campus or attend classes during the day I choose the uncover parking and is a flat fee for all day parking. ASU downtown also provides short term parking and meter parking at a lower cost.

The Downtown Life at ASU is very exciting, located in the heart of downtown, the area offers within walking distance an outside mall, theaters, symphonies, ballet companies, ballparks, and concert venues. ASU keeps the campus alive by providing many events and activities each month. If it is recreation, you are looking for ASU has teamed up with the YMCA that offers athletic, aquatic and aerobic activates that are safe and fun. ASU has many different clubs to join and always encourages new clubs to join the ASU family. ASU downtown is an exciting place to live, eat and shop day or night.

I think the most memorable experience i have has on the ASU collage campus was the day i proposed to my fiancee. It was after the Broadway musical "Avenue Q". We both had saved if for weeks to go there, and on the side without her knowing, i had been saving up for the ring. when we left the theater, i directed her over to the fountains, where everyone could see, got on one knee, and asked her to marry me. Her eyes filled with tears, and both our hearts fulled with joy. I'll never forget the experience. the place, the timing, everything was perfect.

Hussle and Bussle – The school I'm at now has many computers available to students in designated class rooms, high tech lads, the library, and the student union. Most printers cost ten cents to print a page, and with labs that have 8 or 9 pages plus back ground information, i could get expensive. but classes that require labs on the computer in the class, allow you to print for free. The school's network is pretty fast, and their wifi spreads out all over the school until you reach the parking lot. All you need to access the internet is your user name and password that the school gives you. And although all the school's computers that are available are good, it would be wise to have a laptop or a home computer and/or printer, because there are times that the school's computers are unavailable.
