Arizona State University is a melting pot of students. There is every imaginable relgious affiliations who have centers within walking distance to campus. There are many groups and clubs that unite certain ethnicities and races as well as unite everyone. There does not seem to be many diversiy issues across campus. I do not hear very often of an instance where there has been a crime committed based on race. Walking across campus I notice groups of friends together who do not have the same background, racially, but they still are friends and they are able look past accept each other for who they are.

Nice People – I am not super social but so far the people have been pretty nice.

Parking at the West Campus Is Amazing – The parking at the west campus is huge! The main reason I attend that campus, I hear all of the other ones are pretty terrible.

Coming from a community college i am used to not really having clubs that you can join. Compared to my first day at ASU I has offered to join about 3 or 4 clubs or organizations. From religious to sports or scholastic. It feels like another way people can connect with each other.

Peer Pressure – Really peer pressure is what you make of it. If you don't want to be pressured into drinking or drugs you don't have to. It really is your influences that have the biggest impact on your life. Even though Arizona State University is one of the biggest party schools in the nation. I have never been really pressured to do anything that I have not wanted to do.

ASU offers a good selection of on campus housing and there is plenty of housing that is within fifteen minutes of campus. you are able to find the right place for you at the right price. It took no time at all for me and my wife to find what we wanted off campus.

ASU is a "dry campus" meaning they supposedly have zero tolerance for alcohol...WHAT A JOKE.

Health & Safety:
Downtown Phoenix Campus – Generally feel safe despite lots of people thinking downtown is full of homeless people.
Feel more comfortable in a group, of course.. but on campus by myself isn't really an issue.

When you walk around campus you see a lot of people with the grrek shirts and bags but you also notice that the people with these bags or shirts and attractive people. Makes you feel like your too ugly to get in to a sorority or a fraternity. And the people are basically showing off that they are beautiful and the rest of the people aren't.

A Lot of Everything – Here at ASU there are a vast amount of whites, but there are also plenty of people from different races. There are African american, Native american, asian, indian, and everything in between.

Extremely Stressful – I am taking courses in film and the professors are okay except one of them. He makes it fell like he is there to give his lecture and thats it. If we need help it's like we can't go to him we have to get help elsewhere. However the sources here are always overcrowded.

ASU has nice surrounding with great luxurious apartments, gyms, and restaurants.

Phoenix, AZ is home of the hot-hot-heat. We're not called Sun Devils just because it sounds cool.

College Town – Lots of bars and lots of music. Even more drinking violations. If bar hopping Thursday through Saturday sounds appealing, go for it.

Guys & Girls:
Boys on Campus – Boys on campus can be described as extremely cocky.. Supposedly ASU has the hottest girls on campus ... sorry boys can't really say the same for you
the majority of the boys here have SoCal style .. which is like a california surfer type look going for them and ride their boards around campus, which is cute.
For the most part boys .. I'd suggest joining a frat if your interested in Greek girls

Good Eats Around – At ASU West, the food on campus in the dining hall is okay, but off campus there's a lot of choice. Within a two-mile radius, you can easily satisfy what you're craving.

Mesa Arizona – I live in mesa Arizona. Mesa is a really quite place. The University is about 10 miles away. We have old town mesa but other than that there is not much here. We do not mind the students but there are not everymany here.

Hot as Hell – Here at ASU it is all outside walking from building to building. And it gets incredibly hot here. The heat drives me crazy and makes me sluggish getting from class to class but I always figure it could be worse. Once the weather starts to cool its very nice.

The greek life at ASU is a joke, thats hard for me to say because I am a member of a sorority. The greeks are there to make themselves feel superior, throw a few parties, and cause trouble for everyone else. They do a few good things for the campus once in awhile but not nearly as often as they are being put on perole for some alcohol abuse charge or something.

The majority of the nightlife seems to be held by students in secret. They arn't announced that well so you have to know somone, who knows someone else to hear about the happenings. Of course the footballs games are always there and that's always good fun but for just parting or dancing you got to have connections.

AZ's Fault, Really. ASU offers a nice option for public transportation. The U-Pass is extremely discounted and offers a cheap way for students to pay for transportation up-front and for very little. The public transportation in the city is terrible (often taking twice as long as it rightfully should), so it's not ASU's fault, but having cheaper parking on or near campus would be a definite improvement in getting to and from class.

Fast and Plentiful – I haven't had to use them often, but I've always found an available computer whenever I have needed to use one. I've heard that some of the computer labs are crowded for architecture students during crunch times, but I've never experienced it first hand.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
