So far the process has been the easiest that I have experienced to date. Almost all I was able to complete online. I only wish there were more scholarship opportunities available.

I have never seen any drug issues at the West campus. I think I've heard of one or maybe two incidents at the Tempe campus but they were handled very well by campus security and the local police department.

The west campus is real easy to get around in. It's small, one of the things I loved about it. I didn't have to worry about getting lost. They are really good on the first couple days of school to have some people outside helping you find classes if you need them too, but since we only have 4 buildings that hold classes and they're all right by each other, it's hard to get lost and not find what you need. The lecture halls and class sizes are done really well and there's enough room to move around in when needed. Also in every class there's more than one handicap seating available and I found that to be really nice.

I'm not sure about at the Tempe campus, but at the West campus people are not all that worried about how the athletes/sports groups are doing. Not entirely sure they care. I've seen bits and pieces for the Tempe campus and I think that over there, it's a much bigger deal.

I haven't had an internship yet. When going into my degree you are forced into researching all of your career options in the very beginning so you can see the reality of what will be available after graduation. The pay isn't spectacular, but considering I'll love what I'm doing; I'm not too worried about it. It is, however, more than what I would get if I didn't go to college and work so hard to get my degree, and that is enough for me.

I love my program. I was and am unhappy about the type of math I have to take (the last math required) but I am overall very happy with my program. I loved that I didn't have to take it at just one campus, I had a choice and was able to choose the one closest to me. Also for my degree, there are two options. BS, and BA.
College Junior 2013-10-19T23:29:39Z
There's only a very few restaurants (mostly fast food) that are within walking distance. There's only two places close to the west campus.

I love prep harm as my major because it's challenging I have no worries about finding a job after I graduate because pharmacists are always in high demand

Large variety of sports if I ever chose to be an athlete

The options for dinning here are great. They have tons of Vegan and Vegetarian options including "Meatless Mondays" in the main dining halls where all of the main course meals are Vegan and Vegetarian friendly. The MU has two floors with tons of options. Pappa Johns, Taco Bell, Qdoba, Einsteins, Subway, Jamba Juice, and Burger King are all located in the MU as well as buffet style dining hall, "Pitchforks". There are also multiple halls and restaurants dotted along campus. The recently renovated Manzi has a brand new buffet style dinning hall as well. There is tons of options to mix up your daily meals.

Public Transportation is amazing. For $1, you can get a one ride pass on the metro. This then allows you to go from campus, to the Airport for a dollar without having to deal with catching buses and taxis. Getting to Phoenix via light rail is also easy, it's cheap and takes you right into the heart of the city. Day passes are $4, and allow you to take trains back and forth as you need. Taxis are very quick, however they can get expensive. All of the transportation runs full time and is very easy to access.

ASU almost feels like an international hub. There are so many people from so many different places, all with different religious and political backgrounds. I have met people from almost every state and from many different countries including China, Japan, India and various countries from Europe.
On top of the amount of diversity, there are many clubs related to diversity. There are clubs for sexuality, race, religion and political views. Each of which meet weekly and allow members to meet people with similar backgrounds.

So long as you are being respectful and do not have drugs or alcohol, the campus is a great, laid-back place if you want it to be. That being said, there is a serious study-environment if you want that.
College Senior 2013-10-16T15:27:27Z
There is always available parking and the parking staff is very diligent about watching what goes on in them. That means that the vehicles are relatively safe, but that one will be quickly fined if one lacks a permit.
College Senior 2013-10-16T15:25:29Z
The computers are always available and generally work pretty well for the basic things, like internet and paper writing. The IAP students have access to the more advanced software they need.
College Senior 2013-10-16T15:24:27Z
The intercampus shuttle is great, but I wish that it ran on the weekends. That being said, I understand that gas is expensive and that the buses don't always have passengers, but must run anyways. I can make do without the weekend buses, but it would be nice.

Guys & Girls:
There's so much diversity in ASU. There's all types of students. We have the banging hot chicks to the regular hot chicks. lol

The weather at ASU is pretty bad against the heat. In the summer, the average is over 105. It doesn't start getting cool until October and that's barely between 80 degrees and 85 degrees. It starts getting warm again by February and hotter by the month. Don't be surprise if it gets over 115.

The downtown ASU campus recently opened its new gym right next to the YMCA gym this Fall 2013. I would have to say that it is by far the best gym that I have been to. It is also joined with the YMCA and there's plenty of equipment for everyone.
College Freshman 2013-10-16T08:22:14Z
ASU has a few Campus all around the Phoenix area. The downtown Phoenix ASU campus has a variety of restaurants outside of the campus. Most have student discounts. Just show them your student ID and you're good. It's downtown so you'll find almost anything within the area.

All semesters until this last semester were fine. I expected to get the same amount that I received every other semester, but there was less for some reason. This was stated, but I didn't see it until after I told them I was graduating. If I had accepted the entire amount granted I would not have had a problem.
Recent Alumnus 2013-10-15T16:16:31Z
I don't know personally, but I heard someone talking at my work recently that ASU is having a lot of negative problems from drugs. (Fights and arrests).

It is an okay major. I lost interest past semester and am planning on changing it.
College Sophomore 2013-10-14T20:38:43Z
There are many ways to succeed here. there are many available classes as well.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
