The Financial Aid I was applicable for, ASU didn't accept it which is really hurting me considering I'm paying for tuition, living expenses and transportation expenses all on my own with no help of anyone else.

The District on Apache in Tempe is super close to everything no matter which campus you need to get to you can take the ASU shuttle for free and it picks you up down the street from the District which is super convenient.

ASU is a very diverse school. Especially because the business school is well known, many international students flock to ASU to be a part of it. We have many different clubs that cater to the various ethnic, cultural and sexual backgrounds of the students making it easy for students to find their place at ASU.

The campus is beginning to crack down on underage drinking. They have resorted to having undercover cops bust all the tailgates at family weekend, to sitting in the student sections at football games looking for students acting too rowdy.

You can find a party at ASU any night of the week. Usually they are within walking distance from campus which makes it very convenient. The only problem is the police that come out to catch as many underage drinkers as possible which is a buzz kill to the end of the night.

The off campus housing is rather expensive so that is why I choose to live with my parents for the time being. However, they are all very nice and if given the opportunity at a better price I would love to live in the housing. Most offer great amenities, central location, and a great atmosphere!

The student facilities are top of the line! All the way from the classrooms, to the bathroom. Also they have a state of the art on campus fitness center that is really top of the line!

They have really cracked down on drug safety this year, especially Sheriff Joe Arpaio. However, there still is a minor drug problem, I have not run into any drugs in my years of going there, however, I have heard from others and would know where to get drugs if I needed them!

There are so many things to do at Arizona State University. If you live on campus, there will be some new event happening almost three times a week. There are sporting events to go to which are almost all free for students. Just recently a new addition to the student recreation center was finished, and this place has everything. It has basketball courts, racquetball courts, two pools, places to work out, and just outside are huge fields you can play soccer, volleyball, and football. There are also a bunch of clubs you can join. And sometimes the school you're in within the university will have special events you can attend, with free food and activities, also you get the opportunity to meet others with the same major. There are so many things that go on, it's almost impossible to not find something to do.

I think that the facilities at Arizona State University are above par, however, there are little changes that can be made to make them even better! However, the people that you are surrounded by and the atmosphere that surrounds the school makes those little things very unnoticeable!

I don't really eat at restaurants that much, but I do know there a lot of fast food places to eat at. A lot of them are open really late, like 4 in the morning, which is really nice when you don't feel like cooking anything but you still want to eat.

Arizona State University has a very diverse student body.

The athletics programs at Arizona State University are great for athletes but mediocre for average students.

ASU is a dry campus so there is no alcohol or drugs allowed on campus. Most dorm advisors do a good job keeping that under control

If you can handle the heat for a little bit in the beginning of the fall semesters and mid-way through the spring semesters. You will do just fine. Once it gets to late September (like how it is now), the weather here becomes cooler and cooler. Best part is the winter time because it gets as low as 56 degrees during the day and no snow, which makes it awesome

As a filmmaking practices major, I think the program is awesome. There's a lot I've learned from how to set up a scene, finance a film, different positions and jobs on film sets, how to edit in post production, and how to format my screenplays. It was a good step by step break down from my first year at ASU till now.

Parking on campus can be quite the hassle. It's like if you want to park on campus, you have to get their really early in the morning even if your class isn't for another few hours. I remember spending almost 20-30 minutes a couple of times just to find parking. I think if ASU makes the parking permits a bit cheaper, more students will be able to afford it and the students that pay for daily parking won't have a problem finding a space.

Arizona State University keeps on growing when it comes to academics. ASU has been noted as one of the top 100 universities to go to and for being here for the last 3 years, I've noticed. ASU is popular for their business programs, engineering, theatre, and more. Honestly ASU is really great academic wise.

I heard some good things and some bad things about ASU campus housing. I don't live in the dorms; I live off campus in an apartment. I heard the campus dorms make it really easy to get to class and back. Even the dorms that are across the street from University make it easy to get to class because there is a walking bridge that goes over the street making it easy access. The bad things I've heard was that some of the dorms are way too small and that some of the buildings are a little old. I think ASU is fixing that because they have been constructing new dorms since spring 2013 and improving the old ones.

I'm very happy with the program. I'd do it all over again. I wish they had more selection of classes like other law schools. You are limited each semester. Career goals are to either find a job at a law firm, corporation or consulting firm in HR or law. ASU doesn't cater at all to LLM students so I'm essentially going to have to do everything on my own. Very disappointing since that was the main reason why I'm taking this program.

I'm pursuing a LLM (Master of Laws) program and ASU really doesn't help with me with my program for internships. It's mostly catered to JD students. ASU needs to inform the corporations/agencies/companies that LLM is an option to select from so we aren't looked over. I enrolled in this program to get exposure to the legal community in AZ and not much has happened in this regard. Very disappointing!! Plus scholarships are non-existent for LLMs as well.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
