I love the psychology program as a whole. The advisers are really helpful and the classes are demanding but they challenge me to do better and learn more. The curriculum is really helpful on what you want to pursue and the professors are helpful on any questions or concerns that I have about the field I would like to study.

I live in Arizona, and the weather does not affect my campus experience much. Yes it is hot during the summer months but that's just going from class to class, this is no big deal.

I think that the school police are pretty good on keeping people's cars or bikes safe. They also keep the safety of the students in mind. They are also friendly in helping you where to go most of the time.

This school is really diverse, because grades and schooling don't depend on race just a willingness to learn. This is the only thing that really matters is if they are willing to further their education and that is what ASU looks for.

There are quite a bit of off-campus housing options. However, ASU is a college town and the nearby apartments are most likely going to charge you by person, not by room (More business!). So if you think you and your friends are going to buy an apartment and split the price, that's not gonna happen. You'll each pay the same price and are held accountable for your own apartment bill. The prices are $1000-$2000 cheaper though.

It's about $500 a semester, and you still have to walk quite a bit. If you live in Barrett, it might be worth it...just because it's so close. But it's outrageous just to park somewhere. I would recommend just living in the dorms and using public transportation or the provided transportation from the school.

Downtown Tempe & Phoenix are the best if you just wanna go out with friends. There are a bunch of bars if you're over the age of 21. Personally, I use the intercampus shuttles just to get to downtown. I always find something to do!

I have only had been to financial a few times and most the student assistance were knowledgeable and helpful. I only had one experience where the person was rude.

The cost is horrendous to park at ASU. Most of the spaces are inconveniently far away, and there is no where near enough parking so the lots are always full.

Below average, ASU is supposed to be a dry campus but every student knows that its just not true, there are drugs and alcohol visible everywhere.

There are many housing options that are located by the campus. Pros would be that you could walk or bike to classes and not have to worry about the additional cost of on campus parking.

I have only been to one of the 4 campuses. On the diversity aspects that I am aware of I would say that there is a good representation of each. I'm not so familiar on economic and religious backgrounds so I can't rate higher without knowing.

The graphic design program is incredible. The program is unique in the fact that it offers a bachelor of science in design, as opposed to a Bachelor of Arts, which is what the majority of universities offer nationwide. ASU emphasizes research, design theory, process, as well as collaboration with other disciplines. It's a great program and totally worth the hard work.

During the few first months of summer, the heat is unbearable. luckily theres cool air conditioning in every single building. Winter is great, nothing but a sweater. Spring is amazing.

Amazing graphic design program. Focuses on the basics and skills needed to stand out in the job field.

The school does its best to provide strict policies that reflect the values of the school. Police are strict on under-age drinking, and staff have a no tolerance on it. I feel a lot safer with its strict policies. Even though the abuse of underage drinking and illegal drugs does happen, its not in sight, and is punished of discovered.

Health & Safety:
The Tempe campus is the only one that's by a slightly sketchy neighborhood, but as long as your on campus its all good.
College Senior 2013-06-20T14:53:47Z
Its mostly study drugs, and even those are hard to come by. Drinking is somewhat popular and there is no smoking on campus.
College Junior 2013-06-20T06:31:39Z
The school is very diverse, there are a lot of different races and people from different countries too! I'd just say this is kind of different for me, I'm mexican-american and come from a place where almost everyone is of mexican decent XD
Recent Alumnus 2013-06-20T04:30:00Z
Most people on campus are white with a few other races and most come from the same type of background although many are from out of state.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
