The schools facilities vary depending on where you go. The places that are more newer will have great spot for doing homework, hang out with friends, and do almost anything you want. Public facilities are nice and are not bad. The school is very diverse and you will always find people to talk to. In all the school is great no matter where you go.

The drug scene at ASU is big a lot people are doing drugs, but there's never peer pressure to do drugs if you don't want to.

Guys & Girls:
I think that the girls are just hot. We girls wearing what they want to wear. They believe they are an adult. There are a lot of Asian girls that are very shy but really great looking. So there it is!

It is amazing. The Student Recreational Area offers a great variety of activities that involves sport, bodybuilding, etc. You would not get hungry around the campus because there will be vending machine around every corner. The MU which offers mostly the popular food chains are well-organized and the service is excellent. There are many activities that I'm sure are fun, but not yet heard of.

Being a Computer Science student in Arizona State, I would say that the workload and assignments that they give will be a big part of your education. They can be hard to impossible if you have no experience on it yet. But a lot of professors are willing to help students in their homework and sometimes make it quite enjoyable. Though I have not attended a single job seminar yet, they always feed you with the news and send you emails regarding to it if you are interested.

I study at Arizona State University as a Computer Science major. There are several campuses and sadly, my major is only offered in the main campus which takes me an hour and a half to get to. But the campus is not as bad compared to the other ones. The professors are always prepared every class and offer extra help in their office hours. They assign homework that might be time consuming, but you get this feeling of accomplishment every time you finish it.

On the Tempe campus, there are many parking lots and garages that are safe and close to school. The only problem is that it is very expensive and they do not offer any type of student price. This forces students to park somewhere else due to the expensive prices.

The awesome thing about arizona is the weather is very easy to deal with. Most days are just warm which can easily be avioded by being in the shade. The weather patterns are rarely spontanesous. It rains during the monsoon season, it is cold in the winter, and warm in the summer. Weather isn't an issue.

I have only used the light rail when it comes to public transportation. I really like the like rail becuase a train comes by every fifteen minutes. That is very convient. The light rail runs from 5 am-2am on the week days thus making it so a person rarely need to worry if the light rail is running.

Health & Safety:
I feel safe at the Downtown Campus. There's security around if you need them, they're always roaming around campus. I've never had any problems or felt unsafe.

I don't pay much attention to college sports, however much of the student body love our teams. I sometimes even catch myself checking for scores on my phone (shh don't tell anyone)

While I am glad to be in my current program with no regret of choosing it, my specific major can be tough at times. As an interdisciplinary studies major, I take classes from two different departments (Film and Business). I haven't had too much trouble getting into classes on the business side (a few overrides here and there), however, the film side is a different story. I am required to take a set amount of upper level courses to fulfill my degree requirements, and all of these courses require a department override for me to enroll. What makes it hard is the professors give priority to "students within the film program" leaving me with whatever scraps remain 2 weeks prior to the start of classes. I love the classes, just wish they were a little more accessible, especially since I also need them to graduate :/

I usually prefer using my own computer, however I have had experience with a few campus computers as well as the film lab. The only problem I encountered occurred with FCPX in the film lab, when I discovered the lab's software was not up to date, meaning I could not open my FCPX project I had been editing on my home computer.

I transfered to Arizona State to pursue their Interdisciplinary Studies program(Business and Film Production). I have completed 1 year of classes and I have yet to encounter a professor or class that I have regretted taking. Every teacher I've had exhibits a genuine passion for the topic at hand, which makes learning and assimilating new information much easier.

The downtown campus is extremely new, all the buildings are kept in wonderful shape. As far as unique opportunities go it is a positive that there are multiple campuses all around the Phoenix metro area.

Considering the immensely large student body naturally there are a lot of cultural backgrounds. Also there are many students who are studying abroad from other countries. The majority of my student teachers were not from the United States. I would say the diversity is pretty good.

I only experienced the housing on campus via my friends who staying in the dorms. From what I witnessed it as clean, safe and close to classes. There wasn't an amazing amount of space but I don't know what dorm has such space. When you stay in the dorms you are privy to social events and in a good position to find help with your academics

you pay for the paper. You would think that would be taken out of the astronomical amount of tuition that you pay however the computers work pretty well. The network was only hacked once severely putting online schooling at a temporary halt.

I do not live on campus nor do I currently know anyone that is therefore, i could not provide a fair rating

There are a few places close to campus. The school dining offers a variety, with students and money making in mind.

There are a few things that could be updated. Seems that some classes are repeats and only learn a few new things since the last class. Online courses are awesome, convenient but definitely require more work and obedience. You definitely have to keep up and watch deadlines because they can change.

FREEE and CHEAP – ASU is very easy to access. The Oribit is a FREE shuttle that can be found almost anywhere in the area and will take u to the campus. If the city bus is what is by your house/apartment, city bus passes are sold extremely cheap to students for the semester or year. Parking passes are extremely expensive and unnecessary unless u live on campus.

Health & Safety:
The school is very large and there are crimes, or reports through email ir texts to beware of certain people. I think that during the day the campus is pretty safe, but when the sun goes down, be careful. Although ASU does offer a safe pick up van that is willing to take you to your dorm or car, which is a very ncie and convenient thing for students.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
