In the smaller classes the professors pay attention to you more, but the bigger class you have to work to get your teacher to know you. Registration is done all online and is really simple to use.

To Major in Business at ASU. You get the help of advisors, career coaches, internships, and jobs. They really try to help you out!

I had an internship through ASU and it paid pretty good but there was little to no hours. I learned a lot but I wish I could be there more.

As a Business Major I believe that ASU actually cares for their students. I do think they have a lot to improve with their professors but other than that I love it.

Its a blast. The TEM program combines rigorous training with extremely knowledgeable faculty along side a student support net like no other! I love ASU and Ive never even seen the campus. But I heard the campus is lovely too!

ASU offers shuttles to get to various locations in Phoenix as well as the additional campuses. The light rail is horrible and taxis are pretty expensive. Your best bet is getting your own car.
College Sophomore 2013-06-07T02:34:25Z
Parking passes for the year are a definitely not cheap, but they are a lot better than having to get a parking pass in a major city. Also, ASU has tons of parking garages located all over campus so there are always open spaces.
College Sophomore 2013-06-07T02:32:53Z
Due to it's size there is not a very strong sense of community. People stick to their own groups and don't make much of an effort to venture out. There are a lot of R.A planned student events, but not many people participate.

Despite it's notorious reputation as a party school, ASU has a great faculty who are very knowledgable in their specific fields. If you make use of the resources, you'll be able to get a great education for a phenomenal price. However, because the school is so large, you have to actively seek those resources out.

The parking is a nightmare. It is overpriced, inconvenient after school hours, and isn't understanding towards students who don;t own a parking pass and need to park. The only reason parking doesn't deserve an F is because there are multiple parking garages.

Printing is not free and only available through a minimum online payment of 10$. The computers are available at many places; however, the internet is slow sometimes. Just average

The greek life on campus is very well organized, executed and incorporated into ASU life. They contribute to almost all ASU philanthropic events, have a strict risk management policy, and strive to shatter stereotypes. The reason the grade is a low A is because of some fraternities' illegal actions and the perception of non-Greek students. Most hear about the few tragic events, hear one Greek student be "stereotypical" and then pass judgements on how Greek life is conducted.

The drug is somewhat big at ASU, but there is a strong policy enforcement. There is no leniency when it comes to the law, in addition to a lack of peer pressure. There are so many students that there is no "bandwagon" effect.
College Senior 2013-06-06T20:17:48Z
Apartments, condos and Houses are readily available around campus; however, the price is highly inflated. If a student wants to live a biking distance away, then the price expectation is just as costly as living on-campus. A student has to sacrifice price or distance, but it is still worth living off campus than on campus.

The academics at ASU have many varieties that can involve anyone. The registration process is well done and easily done.
College Junior 2013-06-04T22:41:33Z
There are always something going on around ASU. It is located within college town. If students said that they had nothing to do, they simply have not stepped outside.
College Junior 2013-06-04T22:39:42Z
ASU has been known as one of the best schools in the US. They are very well with working with the students and helping them achieve their ultimate goals.

I do not live on campus because I am attending ASU online.

Getting into ASU is very easy. It is staying at ASU that can be hard if one is easily distracted or unfocused.

Tempe is a fun town. There can be lots to do but in the summer it is too hot to want to go out to do anything. During the school year, there will be a lot of events on campus and all businesses surrounding campus will participate in some way. Tempe town lake tends to be an attraction, the marquee is a great concert venue, and mill ave is for drunken night life. A light rail ride to Phoenix offers more cultured experiences like a baseball game, a museum visit, or the opera.

Horrible is the word. The cost of a permit are outrageous. The daily parking rates are also over priced. Finding a spot when students are migrating to the next class block is nearly impossible. Ride the light rail and walk.

Diversity is obvious and appreciated amongst those who are attending ASU for educational purposes. I would be weary of greek life members and those who are extremists in their social, political, and religious activities. These ASU students tend to be close minded and ignorant. (unfortunately)

The campus police are strict when it comes to students' safety. When students don't obey traffic laws or are drinking on campus, the police handle the situation at hand.

Arizona State is a place where any and all people are welcome. There are so many students that you are bound to find a club or someone that you can relate to. There are many different racial backgrounds found at ASU along with different political opinions.

Tempe is a big city in a small town. There are various activities surrounding ASU's campus such as hiking Camelback Mountain, shopping and dining in Old Town Scottsdale or Mill Avenue, or catching a Spring Training baseball game at the several stadiums around town. Tempe Towne Lake is a beautiful area to picnic, go fishing, or try out a paddle boat. The LightRail is conveniently located throughout campus for easy transportation to downtown Phoenix. Tempe has it all and is the perfect college town.
