It could be more diverse but it is not the worth either.. its neutral, there is just no other way to put it.

Studying Biological Sciences as a major is not as easy as many might think, especially when trying to juggle that and the requirements of being an honors student. The labs are long and the material is pretty heavy, but if you keep a good work ethic and try your best, you will do just fine. The professors are all interesting and very helpful, almost as if they understand how difficult their concepts are to grasp. I personally enjoy the major a great deal. The things you get to see and do as a Biology student as both fascinating and fun, enabling you to meet interesting people and do exciting things all the while learning about the fundamentals of life. As a Biological Sciences major, you are given an entire division of the university devoted to finding research positions for you and your peers which offers you plenty of opportunities to intern at both on campus and off campus research facilities.

The area is beautiful, but the congestion of traffic can, at times, be difficult to manage. That said, the university boasts plenty of recreational facilities and shopping locations for those interested; likewise, there is a library for every major topic located around campus that is both stunning in appearance and quality of material possessed. There are some occasional instances of safety issues during the nights for those who venture a bit too far from campus, but in totality the campus is extremely safe.

I myself am not much into athletics, so my opinion is VERY limited in terms of education. However, I have noted a great degree of student pride in the athletic program which often wins against opponents of the university, so I should imagine it is very good. The pride at ASU is great, but not so much that it is annoying, meaning that there will be no painted streakers running through campus. Student life takes sports seriously, but not fanatically, making it a very good school for both those who adore sports and those who could not care less.

I came to Arizona State University because of money, I will not lie to any reader of this post, and being subjected to the common stereotypes regarding ASU, it being a party school where only the "hopeless" go to get "educated," I felt that I might have made a poor decision. However, I found that after the first two weeks the school was actually a great place for those who wanted to learn. The university offers a myriad of great resources to assist students struggling with a concept of a class, the professors are not only knowledgeable, but extremely helpful to those in need of assistance. The campus, despite some segments currently under development is beautiful and perfectly equipped to support the needs of any student, even if a "necessity" of one's college life is a green lawn and neo-classical architecture.

I actually live at home. It isn't the best situation, but commuting is not that bad.

Although there are tons of apartments in the Phoenix area, finding one that is available is tricky! I've looked at tons of them and they would show you a model, but then they say "oh, we will have to put you on a waiting list." So frustrating, why couldn't they say it wasn't available in the first place?

I am satisfied with the education I am receiving but it is not an easy business college. I am a business management major and there are plenty of internship opportunities as well as opportunities within the business college to excel. The teachers are all very helpful it seems like which makes the experience much better and the opportunity for success better as well.

Everyone ought to know the night life at ASU is second to none! There are clubs and bars all over the place and plenty of people to party with. Everything is fairly inexpensive and conveniently located as well.

The dorms at Arizona State University are hit or miss. They can be nice and new or old and run down. The funny part is you pay about the same price for either one. You have to be real quick if you want to lock up an opportunity at a nice one.

The place is pretty small for my wife and I to live but it is extremely cheap which is the goal when trying to get us both through school. It is a fair distance from campus but is close to the freeway. The area is nice and has lots to do nearby making it a good location definitely doable for two students.

I am currently attending Arizona State University to receive my Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Every one of my professors has taught me invaluable information that I hope to apply in the future. Clinical, cognitive, developmental, and social psychologists have blended perspectives to help mold my own, and have excited me to join the field that they have dedicated their lives to.

ASU's unfortunate reputation for being a party school has shadowed the vast diversity this campus displays. The students originate from countless countries around the globe including China extending to Brazil. Religions, political beliefs, and sexual orientation are demonstrated through unique actions and languages.

I came to ASU in order to pursue a degree in Air Traffic Management. I wouldn't go anywhere else. The program is amazing. The professors are all extremely knowledgeable and willing to help out whenever you need it. Workload is reasonable, you have to put in time to do well but it is interesting stuff so it never seems like busy work.

At the Polytech campus there is a new athletic center that is very well put together, and never gets overly busy. Everyone knows one another so it is a very friendly place. Always something going on with friends and there is a student activity or two every week that keep students busy.
College Senior 2013-05-21T19:44:03Z
There is always a computer to use. I have never seen all the computers being used, even during finals. Printing on campus can get expensive if you are printing a lot. Other than that though, I have never had a problem with the network or anything.

The west campus at ASU just had new dorms built and they are really nice. There is also a new cafeteria in which students can eat that serves good food. Living on campus can be a good experience, and I have heard about a lot of good experiences. Students meet a lot of people, who quickly become friends. There are people to always study with since they all live on campus. The amenities are good because there is a swimming pool, a common kitchen, and brand new common room.

Athletics at ASU are a big part of campus life. The students at ASU have a lot of school pride and we are huge supporters of our athletes and competition. There is a lot of student involvement in our school sports, and the team's performance is usually pretty good. ASU has some of the best athletic facilities in the country, which contributes to the success of athletics.
College Junior 2013-05-21T05:10:29Z
The drug scene is not too big at ASU, but that is probably because I do not hang out with people who do drugs. Drinking alcohol is a much more practiced activity, especially since Mill Street is right next to the school. Mill St is a row of bars and clubs that allow students to go out and drink right after school. I feel like the enforcement is pretty good on campus. I do not hear many stories of students getting caught with alcohol or drugs on campus, which is pretty good.
College Junior 2013-05-21T01:24:36Z
There are a lot of computer to use at Arizona State University and sometimes most of the students don't use them. I will say some of them are slow to log in, but after that there okay to use. WiFi is not a problem, but there were only two times it wasn't working.
College Junior 2013-05-21T01:18:25Z
Parking on campus isn't much of a hassle, just be sure you can afford it. It also help if you get a space early since it becomes crowded in the afternoon.

ASU Football has got talk of going to the Rose Bowl this year. Baseball and Softball are at the top like usual. IM sports are also huge and very competitive
