This is an area of improvement for ASU. There seems to be a great lack of communication in the financial aid office. If you are willing to stand in line, wait on the phone, or wait in an online chat room for answers, then you MAY receive a response.

I believe that I have chosen the best major within the business school. I feel like my degree in Accountancy (and another in Finance) will always be relevant and the field will always be hiring. It is a great feeling to be so secure but to also love what I am doing.

Through the Accounting Scholars Program, I was matched up with a firm for a spring internship. It was absolutely the best experience I have had so far. The internship was in my future profession of public accounting. It was great pay and I gained a lot of knowledge that I know will be relevant when I have a full time position. Additionally, I earned a full time job offer at this company for when I am done with my Master of Accountancy graduate program.

I really enjoyed my undergraduate education at Arizona State University. There is a sense of community within the business school. Also, I was admitted into an accounting program that allowed me to skip taking the GMAT and paying application fees to enter the graduate program. I had a great opportunity to earn an internship position.

Accounting is one of the toughest majors in the School of Business to get into. They admit quite a lot of students to the program though. GPA requirements are slightly higher.

Most professors are nice and will work with you if you have any issues as long as you visit during their office hours. However, some of the books or access codes required are a bit too pricey!

It is quite easy to be a business major, however, not too many "fun" activities take place that are major specific. Also, the classes are huge therefore it is hard to really build a connection with the professor.

There are quite a few "attractions", if you may, around campus. "A" mountain is a nice place to hike for either pleasure, exercise, or just to get away and think for a while. Tempe Town Lake, which is located about a half a mile from campus, is also very beautiful both at day and night. Another bonus, is that Mill ave, full of restaurants, bars, retail stores and shops is also located right off of campus. Tempe Marketplace is an outdoor shopping mall which is also located about a mile east of campus.

There is quite a variety to choose from, however, there should be MUCH more places that are open 24 hours and accept M&G.

There are a lot of good places to eat around campus both fast food and fine dining. The cost all depends on where you end up going.

There are a lot of off campus housing that is a lot like the dorm life scene. Around the area there are a lot of party scenes so there are a lot of students drinking and being loud all hours of the night.

There is no big drug scene on campus. We have campus cops that monitor the students. Outside of campus in the dorms and apartments is a different story.

The dining is alright. It is not the best, but it'll pass.

Guys & Girls:
Everyone there is rude. They are hypocritical and just when you think someone is being nice to you, they turn around and stab you in the back. I've experienced this many times. I have yet to find one sincere person.

The officers tend to always be there at the right moment, somewhat. When they are there they do a great job handling the situation.

the staff there are very helpful but on the same note very rude

ASU is in the center of Phoenix and there is a lot to do up there
College Freshman 2013-05-10T22:38:16Z
the drug life on ASU is noticable if you are looking for it. yes a lot of people do them but its not so many people to where they get your attention

Arizona State University is a great school all in all

They are okay, but a lot of work and having to deal with the waiting line sucks

The football games are popular but they need to work on getting all the students together so that we aren't all spread out. This would make the atmosphere much more enjoyable. The other sports aren't so great and attendance isn't very high.
College Junior 2013-05-06T18:53:36Z
The drug scene doesn't seem to be as huge here as alcohol. However I don't think it's smart that ASU is a "dry" campus because it just makes people want to get a hold of it that much more.
College Junior 2013-05-06T18:49:43Z
There is a lot of available parking options, however it's so unbelievably expensive to get a parking pass for a semester. Also, the meters are completely unreasonable and charge way to much for a short amount of time.

Transportation is very easy, especially with the new rail- makes it easy to go to campus and back. There are several apartment complexes near ASU- you just have to shop around for a price you want. Some are open to negotiation. Parking at ASU is very expensive so you are better off riding your bike or carpooling, at least, with classmates/roommates.

The computers are great and there are a lot of them, but I rarely use them because I have a laptop. the reason I give this a C is because there is only one place, outside of having your own printer, where you can print for free on campus.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
