ASU has an excellent and competitive Industrial design program with professors bringing a wide variety of experience from within the field.

School spirit is at it's max here at Arizona State University. Students are proud to be a Sun Devil and are not afraid to show it. The school is very active, students highly involved, and fann support at it's maximum level.

Finding an internship is going to be a challenge. I do want to get an internship because I want to get experience in the field I declared. It will open up new opportunities and widen my perspective of what the business industry is really about. I work for W. P. Carey School of Business so I have had the experience of knowing some of what the business industry is like and what they expect from students.

Being in Business Law Legal Studies at Arizona State University is quite a challenge. There is a lot of studying that has to be done for a business degree. I have not gotten in depth into the Legal Studies Program but what I have researched, it is sure to be a wild ride! As if for an internship, I am a bit intimidated due to the fact that a lot of people apply.

The drug scene at Arizona State University is not a big deal. You never see people doing drugs or drinking and if they are, they usually are smoking plain cigarettes. Although it does depend on who you hang out with but drinking is the most popular here at Arizona State. In fact, Arizona State University is going to become a dry campus starting Fall 2013 so that sould be exciting!

With the countless options at Arizona State University, it was very complex to declare a major. As a freshman, I have switched my major just about three times not knowing what exactly I want to do. Finally, my third major I chose was Business Legal Studies. I enjoy all the business classes that I am taking. They are a bit of a challenge but who doesn’t like a challenge. If I could do it over again, I would have researched into depth more majors instead of rushing into one. I would have saved myself the stressful nights. One of my career goals is to own my own Law Firm where we assist families who struggle in divorce, legal separation, custody, etc. I have no concerns with being able to find a job, for my school has many job fairs thought the school year and they constantly send out emails about future opportunities within the business industry.

I have not had an internship yet but I do plan on getting one in the future. I feel like internships are great and will give students actual experience in the field they are pursuing. Many employers are going to look for internships as well as a degree. I am a little concerned about finding an internship. I know its very competitive and many students apply for them.

I received hardly any financial aid. It was mostly loans. My friends also share the same problem. I feel that there are so many scholarships out there and it is very difficult to receive them. I applied for a ton online and did not get any. I had great grades in high school and worked part time. But because I was not in any club or sport I feel like I get the short end of the stick.

I don't notice drugs to be a big problem at my school. Alcohol on the other hand is a huge issue. ASU is known to be a big party school. But I feel like the students who are motivated to do well and graduate know how to handle it maturely.

Being in Tempe there is Tempe Marketplace which has a variety of options from sushi to barbecue that everyone loves to go to. Mill Avenue has a lot of great restaurants - especially a staple at ASU Fuzzy's Tacos. As well, Tempe is right outside of Scottsdale so you have all the Scottsdale restaurants from high end 5 star restaurants to the typical chain or fast food options. Cost is pretty straight forward there is a variety and in Tempe there are a lot of student discounts especially for pizza and late night foods.

The nightlife is geared towards the older crowd if you are into bars (Mill Avenue, Old Town Scottsdale) but there are always house parties going on every weekend! There are always pool parties when its warm out as well for underage nightlife.

ASU is so spirited like we love our sports teams and support them no matter the score. Football is huge and it is the best part of the Fall semester, the field is amazing and nice. Basketball is super fun too, love the gym it is such a cool atmosphere.

Guys & Girls:
ASU is full of beautiful people. The greek tend to wear their letters a lot, the athletes tend to wear comfy gym or workout clothes a lot, and then the rest of the student population is found in normal clothing. There are good guys here you just have to find them and there are good girls here too, again you just have to find them because a lot of us are just having fun. If you don't drink or do anything like that, don't worry a lot of kids here don't and you'll still have as much fun as those who do.

I am an Global Studies and Political Science major and I love my curriculum that is why I am sticking with it. My advisors have given me a lot of ideas and direction for careers so I don't have too much concern.

Teachers program. It is not a great program. The opportunities that are available once you graduate the program are great but the actual classes and teachers are awful and feel like a waste of time. The internship that I was placed in is great but fellow peers have been placed in terrible locations with mentors that do not want to teach them. I feel like sitting in class is a waste of my time. Id be done more quickly and better off taking the courses online and I hate online courses. Teachers waste their time with stupid group work and coloring projects. It's laughable what passes as a college course. I understand exactly why America's children and educational system is failing and why college level students still do not know how to spell correctly or think outside the box.

I am not in a greek and I don't care either way. There is one greek in my classes but she's a normal girl. You can go your whole college career and never notice them unless you want too.

The parking permit is ridiculously expensive, not worth it, but you would end up paying more if you just pay per day in the garages without a permit. Its stupid and greedy on ASUs part. The actual amount of parking spaces available is comically inadequate, but not funny when your trying to get to class. There might as well be no parking because so few students get spots. What's worse is the parking attendants will turn you away and have a closed garage sign up in the visitors parking lot. You're a paying ASU student and the parking workers will treat you like crap saying you cannot park in the visitors garage because its 'reserved'. Reserved for whom?! Its a terrible system and there should be multiple 10 level parking garages through out the campus, but there is not.

Health & Safety:
There has been a huge upswing in on campus theft of smart phones recently.

The crowd is always a good crowd. But the teams we field are occasionally terrible.

There is a variety of food on campus. Lots of the main fast food places, Subway, Taco Bell, Panda, etc.
I do however wish they had a larger variety of health dining places.

This school is definitely a "melting pot" of culture. You have people from around the world. I definitely have learn so many things because of that fact. Its awesome to really be able to interact with people from different cultures than your own.

The Bus System running through the campus as well as the trolly system are very convenient, reliable, fast, a chill environment, clean and friendly. The trolly system runs all through the night with multiple ones arriving every few minuets.

I lived in San Pablo last year and I had a great dorm experience as a freshman. I was glad to have our own bathroom in our shared room instead of community showers. The only downside was that the dorm was outdoors, so we had a lot of little "visitors" such as crickets and bees.
College Junior 2013-03-14T02:47:28Z
When I was a freshmen I lived at PV East dormitory, and right across the hall from me were four cross country runners. I became best friends with one of them (and still are very good friends) and attended his races regularly with other people on my floor. It was a lot of fun, and supporting him by sitting in the bleachers was a total plus. Definitely get to know your hallmates if you are living in the dorms, because you'll make friendships that will last well into the future.

This school is amazing with the diversity. There is a great mix with the population. The only bad thing I would say is that becasue the school can be so diver some people of different cultures tend to stick within their parameters and not really venture off. Me personal I have friends here on campus of all different races and ethnicity, religion, and cultures and I find it fair and fun to get to know these people and there experiences in life
Sorry, there are no reviews.
