Dining hall food is edible, but not amazing. The MU has some options of food to eat, but you get over these options after a while.

Mill has some good places. A little pricy, but quality food and varied type of food

I am in the Liberal Arts and Physical Science College, and in the Psychology program. Their Psych program is one of the stronger ones among state universities, both at the undergrad and graduate level. I have been very satisfied with the curriculum and facilities. Being in big classes can be challenging for some, but if you sit in the front and ask questions to engage yourself then you can get what you need from the classes.

Being such a huge university ASU is easily a very diverse school. There are tons of different backgrounds represented in every domain you can think of.

ASU is huge and thus they have a large variety of majors that are offered. Not every program is perfect, but they have strong programs in just about every discipline.

Health & Safety:
I don't spend a ton of time on campus on the weekend or later in the day since I don't live on campus, but it's a huge university so there is bound to be some crime. I think the most common is probably theft if stuff is left unattended.

There are the usual chain restaurants nearby but there's not many other options nearby if you're like me and like and eat super healthy.

All the clubs at the Mill strip are 21 and up. Other than that its the hot spot for clubs and bars. There are also some fashion and interesting shops there, as well as great eating places. Lots of house parties in Tempe also.

Guys & Girls:
ASU Tempe is a pretty big party school, so if you're not into that then you'll have to do some hunting to meet new people. The school luckily offers a wide range of different clubs and I would say you're guaranteed to find something that suits your interest.
As for people there in general there's still definitely a lot of diversity, but there are a ton of Asians and Indians there as well. The chicks there are also super hot so work out those abs! Lol

At the Tempe campus there's a popular strip on Mill Ave with lots of bars, clubs, shops, and eating places. Its a nice spot especially at night on the weekends. There is also an internet cafe and a park with events right by that strip. The only thing really is that activities and places to go are somewhat scarce away from this hot spot.

Living off campus always has its pros and cons, but ASU has several cons. The housing near ASU is very expensive. The apt are very nice but the price is outrages. Everything is overpriced, the buildings are party central, and the people are rude. But if you go a little farther away, not more then half a mile, the prices start to go down. The apt are still very nice but more reasonable to students that are paying for school themselves.
The houses in Tempe are amazing though, they are old but have character. Houses in Tempe are large and spacious, and despite living in Arizona Tempe is very green. The back yards are very big, and filled with greed. Just be careful about the Tempe cops.

Although you might have to walk a little there are great off campus dining options. On Tuesday's there are taco Tuesdays at Fuzzys on mill. The tacos are amazing and its a great crowd. Usually the dining is fairly priced, but there are always the restaurant that become price but most are generous to students.

One thing that I love about ASU is the film program. I find it encouraging that each film student receives a mentor that they can talk to. Usually the student is paired with a professor that resembles the same ambitions in film and the student.

The dining at ASU is highly disappointing. The "MU" which is the center dining building and the busiest building on campus has a dinning hall called pitch fork. Although the title of the hall is catchy and exciting the food is nothing but subpar. The veggies are often dried out and unappealing, they are usually always out of items, they surve the same food almost all the time, and the service is the worst of the experience.
But there is hope, if you are one of the lucky who can afford to live the high life at ASU you could dine at one of the many other dining halls which are far better. You might be thinking, why do you not just dine there. It is simple, the other dining halls are farther away. I find it incredibly deemning that just because I am not one of the colleges that the housing by the better halls house or that I simply can not afford it I am left to eat horrible food, that to sum it up is worse then cafeteria food I so desperately was escaping when graduating.

If you can find an open computer at the computer lab then you wont be disappointed. Quality is good and the internet speed is phenomenal.

The is a pretty good variety around the Tempe campus with Olivios and Raising Canes close to the Northeast corner, Mill Avenues eateries on the northwest corner, IHOP and Chipotle on the southwest corner, and Taco Bell, Wendys, and Mcdonalds on the southeast corner.

The weather is sunny all the time. The days during the beginning and end of the year are really hot and the nights during 'winter' feel even colder than they are. But you can count on 300+ beautiful sun-shiny days.

Health & Safety:
There are ASU police and health services on all campuses

Drug and alcohol abuse is very common at ASU. When I was in ASU 101, the wellness representative was even talking openly about how many people at ASU use drugs and abuse alcohol. I think that it really depends on who you hang out with but you either party or you don't at all. I don't really see a middle ground at ASU.

I am an online student and I really love the choices available both for electives and required course work for my major. Some very interesting topics, some creative learning applications are employed throughout the courses and so far the professors have been great and very helpful.

There are many many computers available on campus but also many many students looking to use them. Also the computers are getting a little old and sometimes are extremely slow. I am extremely glad I have my own laptop.

Sports are taken very seriously at ASU and we have extremely nice facilities. The amount of school spirit is unbelievable!
College Sophomore 2013-02-05T04:23:22Z
Although there are a lot of options, only a couple around campus accept M&G and many of the restaurants are a little too pricey for a college student.

instructors here at ASU are very through and if you need additional help there are student success center who will help you with your reports. My program health promotion is very interesting, I myself had benefit from what I have learn and also applied new materials into my life.

Recreational was provided at all ASU campuses as well as fitness facilities that provided clubs, outdoor programs, and health promotion.
