Get to parking lot EARLY...especially on the first day. The Parking permits are OUTRAGEOUSLY priced, so be prepared to pay a pretty penny for a good lot. Also, you are paying for the lot, not a spot. You could have a permit for the best lot, but have awkwardly-timed classes and end up in a spot that is pretty far away.

I've had no problems with their computers. The ones at Fletcher Library at the West Campus are a bit slow, but nothing too frustrating!

I think the most outstanding thing about ASU is how much there is to do on campus and around campus. You don't even have to join a club and there are still all kinds of events going on. This includes breakfasts and study parties, concerts, football games and basketball games, and so much off campus. Downtown is close enough on the Light Rail, Mill Avenue is a block off campus, and the Tempe Marketplace is only a few blocks away.

I LOVE BEING AN ARIZONA SUN DEVIL!! The gold and maroon runs through your veins. There is ALWAYS something to do on campus whether you join a club, meet new friends, or go to your hall events. The facilities are well kept and the Memorial Union has so much food! They get through the lines quickly so there is little to no wait. There is so much space to spend time doing homework out on the grass and during the spring all the trees and flowers are in bloom! Absolutely love it.

I won't give an A+ because of the cold in winter, even though its only in like the 60's and stuff it feels pretty cold. There are days in november and december I could wear shorts and sun dresses still though so that is the best part. As for the rest of the year weather is amazing and really hot sometimes but we just need to hydrate regularly and then you'll be good!

Greek has the parties and you always see them around campus with events and stuff. If you join them you'll get the hook ups for parties which is great but I also know that they are really tight together. Basically the greeks are fun and you'll love it if you join but if you don't you'll be good too!

The nightlife at ASU is a lot of fun. There is a strip called mill avenue very close by with all the bars clubs and social get togethers that you could think of. The atmosphere on mill avenue is great, especially with the new Tempe town lake right at the end of mill avenue that they have now, Not to mention all of the events that take place at tempe beach park from runs, charity events, the iron man ect..

Near by is also tempe town lake our beautiful man made lake right on the boarder of campus, its vary romantic and a great scenery. sports are great at asu and the town definitley shows asu school spririt. Campus safety is great as well with a number of emergency phones all over the place.

I think that the financial aid process is not the issue i believe that it is the criteria in which you are graded based on need is the issue. College is hard enough and having to live paycheck to paycheck and get amazing grades is extremly hard. A broader range of criteria should be established when determining the need factor for students when it comes to college money.

Tons and Tons of restaurants close to school or within a short drive or bike ride. Plenty of variety in price, culture and portion sizes.

Mill provides a good place to go with a variety of clubs and bars with easy access to safe public transportation like cabs or the lightrail.

I came to Arizona State University to attend the W.P. Carey school of Business. It is ranked one of the top thirty business schools in the world and has many learning as well as networking opportunities.

ASU Main is the most diverse campus by far, because they have people from all over the world. There are many different races and religions at ASU, and for the most part they are all tolerated.

The Downtown housing (Taylor Place) is fantastic for freshmen! The dorms are very nice and pretty spacious. I really like the sense of community that you get as a freshmen, and you can get to class in 5 minutes.

Health & Safety:
The ASU campus police are always around and always make their presence visible. In the dorms Downtown, they walk up and down each floor occasionally to make sure that everything is under control. They are outsides and inside each building that is occupied by ASU students. I have never felt unsafe while on the campus. There is a lot of security, like swiping your badges to get into the dorms and security cameras in every hallway and elevator.

The facilities at ASU are extremely good and serve their respective purposes well. The new and the old both are reliable and extremely helpful.

If you can't drink or smoke, then the various nightlife outlets will be limited. If not, you can have a fantastic time with good people and good fun. The ASU crowd definitely knows how to party hard if your into it and if not there are plenty of other options for folks who aren't looking to get too crazy. Something for everyone!

The ASU Polytechnic campus has excellent facilities, dining and architechture. The helpful staff are always available and one's fellow students are always there to lend a helping hand! Love the campus and everyone on it!

There is always something to do at ASU. For starters, there are more than 500 clubs on campus, and students are allowed to start a club that ASU might not have. Speakers and scientists come every day to ASU to talk about a recent discovery or work in progress that is being done in real life, which gives an insight as to what is going on in the modern world. Concerts, comedy shows, plays and other events are advertised well in advance, and many of these performances are held on campus. The best turnouts recently have been for a standup comedy show, B.o.B. concert and Mac Miller concert. I cannot go on to describe all the amazing events and programs that have been held within this last semester at ASU without writing a short story. This is why I believe that ASU is definitely one of the most unique colleges we have in the United States and that it gives the largest variety of activities and involvement opportunities to its students.

Since ASU has become a "dry" campus, the police have been buckling it down on underage drinking and being under the influence of illegal substances. Any parties held within walking distance from campus have been busted within an hour. As for drinking in the door, "quiet hours" have been put in place starting at 9:00pm to make it easier for Community Assistants to search dorm rooms and find alcohol. This is not the sort of place you would want to hold a large and loud party at. And any party that's advertised on Facebook or Twitter is almost guarunteed to be busted by the police.

There are usually open parking spots on campus. However, that is only because on-campus parking must be payed for in advance. The price of this increases with convenience, the most expensive being the closest to campus. If you have money to spend, then there is no problem at all. Because many college students are typically short on money, I would say the parking situation is only fair--not great.

If you take summer classes, and at the the end of the Spring semester, it is really hot, and you will need water. The rest of the year, the weather is great. Occasional rain, but nothing serious, and it never snows.
College Senior 2012-12-22T17:38:00Z
Parking is terrible. People complain "Freshmen don't get good parking" or "All students don't get good parking", but nobody gets good parking. There are garages that are closeish to class, but they are expensive and if you get there at the wrong time you will park on the fourth floor or the roof. There is a cheaper garage that is very far away, but your car will be broken into there at least once a year, and possibly stolen. There are parking lots, but they're not much cheaper, also fill up, and the sun will destroy your car.
I'm looking into other ways to get to class for next year, including biking and the light rail. There are a lot of bike racks (which also sometimes fill up!) and the light rail stops on campus.

Getting into Ira A. Fulton and Barrett is slightly harder than the rest of ASU, but any good student can get in those two. Barrett had a separate application which required letters of recommendation and an essay or two, but it was less than for a private college such as Stanford.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
