As a part of the communications program, it's fairly necessary for me to own a computer. I can't speak to other programs, but it seems as though there is enough support on campus for whatever a student may require.

Phoenix is a large metropolis, so there is plenty to do no matter what age you are. The only downside is that because it's so large, you'd better have a car, or good friends with one. Public transportation is getting better, but the city is vast, so it can get expensive - especially if you cab it.

Phoenix in the summer can be brutal, with temps in the 110s and even 120s, but in the winter, it's the best place to be. Sunny and mild with no humidity? Pretty great.

Mill is very close and people seem to have a great time down there, but it is not a hoity toity area.

They're SO strict about stupid stuff like parking and cheating, but don't seem to care as much about drinking.

Tempe isn't a huge hot spot, but there is a lot of stuff around us. If you're looking for night life, Mill and Scottsdale aren't too far.

Parking costs an INSANE amount, and most of the lots are very far away.

I'm a part of greek life. It isn't huge here, but it is fun to be a part of. There is a lot of negativity from the community though.

I lived in Barrett, so my dining situation was better than most. They have great options for vegetarians.

I used to love it here, and I love the resources and my classes. However, the quality of people who go here is seriously lacking.

Arizona has fantastic weather, obviously. However, it DOES get cold.
College Junior 2013-11-27T05:17:50Z
Tons of fast food, with a few gems of actually good food. A bit hard for a vegetarian.
College Junior 2013-11-27T05:16:25Z
There are a lot of different people here because it is a massive campus.

Health & Safety:
I don't have much experience with the safety and security department.

It depends on who wants to know if its the best or the worst. For people who want to party, this is the place.

ASU gives decent scholarships, but the cost of tuition is so extreme they need to offer more.

From what I've heard.

Great. Very high spirited school.

Too much underage drinking and binge drinking. We've had a student beaten to death in an elevator and a student disappear.. Found later, dead.

Depends on the time of day. Only thing open at night is generally subway.

From what I have heard, I do not live on campus.

Permit costs are outrageous, ticketing and fines are almost unavoidable.
College Sophomore 2013-11-27T01:34:00Z
ASU had no idea what the requirements were for maintaining an AIMS Scholarships, after many attempts I was told what they thought were the requirements. They were incorrect and I lost my scholarship. Very upset with ASU.
College Sophomore 2013-11-27T01:32:19Z
I am not involved in greek life.
Sorry, there are no reviews.
